Otherwise Premiere “Crossfire” Music Video

Otherwise have premiered a new video for their song “Crossfire.” This track is from their latest album “Defy.”

Adrian Patrick commented:

“One of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, as performing artists, was cancel our Defy Division Tour. It’s left us wondering how we’ll be able to feed our families, if we’ll still even have a career after this; we know that millions of others across the globe are facing the same dire prospect. Yet it’s not just jobs & money that we are losing… people are fighting for their lives, right now. The whole world has been caught in the Crossfire. We never thought we’d live to see the heartbreaking day when the bright lights & dancing fountains are turned off in the Neon Desert. But we are all in this together so let’s keep our heads down low & hopes up high, for humanity. This pandemic doesn’t discriminate… and neither does rock n roll. Stay safe, stay home, stay strong.”

Otherwise Premiere “Lifted” Music Video

Otherwise have premiered a new video for their song “Lifted.” This track is from the band’s new album “Defy,” which will be released on November 8.

Adrian Patrick said the following about the video:

“Making the video for ‘Lifted’ was perhaps the most fun we’ve ever had filming! The locale was absolutely stunning (thanks to Patten Title Group), the vehicles and girls were drop-dead gorgeous, but the best part was having our family and friends there to celebrate with us; even our mom stopped by for a few! The director and his team did a phenomenal job putting it all together; the final product came out over the top and zany AF, which is exactly what we wanted… We can’t wait for this silly beast to get released so the world can get ‘Lifted’ with us!”

He also added the following about the song:

“[It’s] about getting fucked up, alcohol, and drugs… it got me kicked off tours and banned from festivals. It’s about all of the same shit that got me trouble, and the label thought it was the best single to lead with. It’s fun. I’ve been the guy the song is about. I’ve lived that life. I’ve been there. It’s real.”

Otherwise Premiere New Songs “Lifted” & “Bad Trip”

Otherwise have premiered two new songs, “Lifted” and “Bad Trip.” These tracks are from the band’s new album “Defy,” which will be released on November 8.

Singer Adrian Patrick said the following about the songs:

“[‘Lifted’ is] about getting fucked up…it got me kicked off tours and banned from festivals. It’s about all of the shit that got me trouble. I’ve been the guy the song is about. I’ve lived that life. I’ve been there. It’s real.”

“[‘Bad Trip’] serves as a commentary on the current nebulous state of affairs we find ourselves mired in as a nation…as human beings on this planet.”

He also added the following about the album:

“We grew up in the last era where nineties bands were soul rebels. They stood for something. Since the greatest risks yield the greatest return, why play it safe? In between the last album and now, we changed everything. I had two sons, and it took their births for me to go, ‘Fuck it, we’ve got to shoot for the goddamned stars.'”

“It’s a new chapter all around, and we’re fired up about it. Matt [Good] is the most creative, prolific producer we’ve ever worked with. He’s the kind of guy we’ve always wanted in our corner.”

“When you listen to the record, I hope you go, ‘I did not expect that’. It’s personal. This is my fucking life. There’s no turning back. This band is the future of my family. It means everything to me — and all of us. This is Otherwise.”
