Motionless In White Postpone Tour With Knocked Loose, Stick To Your Guns, & Ovtlier

Motionless In White have postponed their U.S. tour with Knocked Loose, Stick To Your Guns, and Ovtlier due to the coronavirus pandemic. The trek will be rescheduled later this year.

Motionless In White commented:

“MIW Fans:

We regret to inform you that due to the escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are forced to postpone our upcoming Black And Blue Tour to a different timeframe this year. New dates will be announced as soon as we receive the go-ahead from promoters.

We have been waiting as long as we could to see what our options were before making this call, but unfortunately, after talking with venues and promoters, we have no choice. As always, the forefront of our attention in this situation is based on the safety of both the bands and attending fans. As much as we are saddened by the news, we support the actions that are being taken around the world to try and prevent the spread of the virus.

Ticket holders, your tickets will be honored at the future dates. VIP holders, you will be receiving an email this week from LTD regarding your options with your VIP purchase, but as the ticket holders, your VIP’s will also be honored at the future dates.

As for the fans asking about our European and Australian tours in June and July, we unfortunately also found out today that Download has been canceled. We are now awaiting more information on the rest of the festivals and shows. If we can be there, we’ll be there. We will let you know as soon as we know in the coming weeks.

Lastly, we would just like to send a massive thank you to anyone out there that works under the essential business umbrella who are still out there working hard and have been dealing with the close contact risks associated with your job. We appreciate you!

Thank you. We’ll see you in the summer.

– MIW”

Madball, Knocked Loose, Harm’s Way, Siberian Meatgrinder, Hawser, and Dagger Threat have cancelled their European tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. The following statement was issued:

“We are very sad to announce that due to circumstances out of everyones control (“corona virus”) – Venues have been forced to shutdown shows on our tour routing and more cancellations are inevitable. We will postpone Rebellion 9 to a later time period – If you purchased tickets in advance they will be honored moving forward. I’m sure we speak for ALL the bands involved when we say, we are super bummed that we can’t do this tour. We will begin to work on rescheduling this as soon as we can. Malevolence Premiere Music Video For “Keep Your Distance” Feat. Knocked Loose’s Bryan Garris

Malevolence have premiered a new video for their new song “Keep Your Distance.” This track features Knocked Loose’s Bryan Garris and it will appear on the band’s new EP “The Other Side,” which is set to be released on April 24.

Malevolence told Kerrang! the following:

“‘Keep Your Distance‘ encompasses the difficulty in making the decision to cut off those around you that bring nothing positive to your life. It was written about positive aggression; having the strength to remove and liberate yourself from any negative influence that you see fit – a sentiment that we believe everyone can relate to.”

They also added the following about working with Garris:

“Since the song is short and sweet, we wanted a high energy video that would truly capture the vibe and chaotic nature of our live performances. Bryan hit the studio to record his part a day or two before the tour started and jumped on stage to sing it with us every night with immediate effect.”
