Bryan Garris Rejoins Knocked Loose On Tour

Knocked Loose’s Bryan Garris has rejoined the band on tour. This news comes after he previously had to leave due to the death of a loved one.

Garris said the following

“We’re back. As of today Taylar and I officially rejoin KL on the road to finish out the disease tour with Sylar and Beartooth. I can’t put into words how forever grateful I am to Jayden, Miguel, Caleb, Kam, Oschie, Zach, Jeffery, Jerel, Jay, and anyone I might be forgetting for holding it down in my absence. You never expect to have to leave a tour in the middle but thanks to them I was able to go home and be the support I needed to be for Taylar. Also thank you to Kevin, PacSun, Isaac, Cole, and Tim for being patient and supportive throughout this entire situation.

A week ago we were faced with tragedy. But thanks to our team, band mates, and new friends, we were able to go home and be with family, and I was able to be strong for Taylar. Thank you for your patience.

Rest in peace Tiffany Tomerlin”

While he was gone, members of Beartooth, Sylar etc. handled his parts. You can see footage of the various guests below:

Knocked Loose’s Bryan Garris To Miss Upcoming Shows Due To Family Emergency

Knocked Loose’s Bryan Garris has exited the band’s current tour with Beartooth and Sylar due to a family emergency. He said the following:

“Knocked Loose has never been the kind of band to cancel or bail on something that we have booked, so that makes this message even harder to type. Two days ago I received some horrible news that required me to fly home. All that I can say right now is that it is a family emergency and we hope that you all understand that we never thought something like this would happen, it just did. So I will not be with KL for a while. With that being said, KL will not be canceling shows. They will be continuing with out me for now with the help of some friends on the tour. I would greatly appreciate your patience, and your support. I will be back as soon as I can.“

Knocked Loose Kick Stone Off Their Upcoming Tour With Terror & Jesus Piece Following Sexual Assault Allegations

Knocked Loose have announced that Stone have been removed from their upcoming tour with Terror and Jesus Piece following sexual assault, rape, etc. allegations against Stone’s Zach Dear (ex-Expire). Year Of The Knife have been added to the trek as their replacements. Considering there has been so many victims coming forward against Dear, a Tumblr has been set up to share all their statements.

Knocked Loose commented:

“We have been aware of recent incidents and paying very close attention to every story, tweet, and Facebook post being shared. Stone is no longer on the upcoming tour, it was never a question from the start. This is being worked on from our end since the very beginning please do not take our silence as hiding from the issue, instead we have been working to make our first official headliner a better tour and a safer place for everyone involved.

We are sorry it took so long to update. We have always promoted a safe place for every different kind of person that wants to come to our shows, and have vocally promoted a safe space for women. We DO NOT stand behind these actions, and it will not be tolerated. More news tonight.”

Dear also issued his own statement:

“In the last few days there have been some stories involving me circling around the internet. Most saying that I hurt people in different ways. While on tour I was shamefully promiscuous. It’s not something I’m proud of but it is something I’ve been honest about. I lived by the rule that every intimate encounter was over when a woman said “no.”

In every intimate situation I’ve been in, my understanding at the time through body language, being kissed back, etc., was that everything was consensual. I am not the kind of guy who would intentionally harm anyone and – given the chance – I would apologize to anyone who felt I misinterpreted their signals or hurt them. That was far from my intention.

I think it’s important for women to raise issues like this. No question. It gives everyone the opportunity to reflect and deal with them honestly which is what I’ll be doing while we take a break from touring.”
