Dayseeker Premiere “Neon Grave” Music Video

Dayseeker have premiered a new video for their new song “Neon Grave.” Vocalist Rory Roriguez commented:

ERRA Cancel European/UK Tour With Dayseeker, Brand Of Sacrifice, & Hollow Front

ERRA have cancelled their European/UK tour with Dayseeker, Brand Of Sacrifice, and Hollow Front. The trek was unable to move forward due to issues related to the coronavirus pandemic.

ERRA commented:

“We held out as long as possible to keep this tour going, but unfortunately, we have to cancel our EU/UK headliner in February.

To provide a little context, stricter regulations were introduced in Germany and elsewhere in Europe back in November, which have only tightened through the holidays. From what we’ve come to understand from our team in Europe, promoters in some of the countries we’re hitting (while technically allowed to put on shows) are limited to heavily reduced capacities (some as low as 25%). Along with this revelation, there are also the major financial risks associated with any of us testing positive for Covid, the primary risk being forced to forfeit our transportation rental on the spot and not only unable to play, but also being stranded in another continent without a means of transporting all of our gear.

Please bear in mind that at the time of announcing this tour last summer, these setbacks we’re clarifying were not in place nor anticipated to be a factor by February. A lot of this is new info and we held out as long as possible because rest assured, we did not want to cancel this run. This was our first headliner in EU, tickets were selling great, and we were looking forward to finally having a full production set over there. We’re flying by the seat of our pants like everyone else, but we’re at least relieved that this is the first time we’ve had to cancel a tour since the pandemic began. It sucks major, and we hope we don’t have to do it again.

One last thing to note, this is not a “reschedule,” but a “cancellation”. We absolutely will be making a EU headliner happen again asap, but the reason why we chose not to phrase this as a reschedule is simply because we don’t want to hold people’s ticket money for months, a year, or worse.

Thank you for reading, we hope you understand, and above all else, stay safe out there. We’ll see you as soon as possible.”

Dayseeker To Release Deluxe Edition Of “Sleeptalk”, Share Video For Reimagined Version Of “Burial Plot”

Dayseeker will be digitally releasing a deluxe version of their latest album “Sleeptalk” on September 24 (vinyl out December 3). The effort will include the original album tracks, as well as reimagined versions of several songs. A video for a reimagined version of “Burial Plot” featuring Seneca Pettee can be found below:

Frontman Rory Rodriguez said the following about the new take on the track:

“It was so cool getting to work with Daniel Braunstein again and I think we really challenged ourselves to try some different genres and styles of reimagining that we’ve never done on any of our prior deluxe releases. ‘Burial Plot (Reimagined)’ is a deeply personal song I hold very near to my heart and I always thought it would be really interesting to hear it done as a duet. Seneca Pettee was the obvious choice since she already sang on ‘Starving to Be Empty’ on the original album. The strings and piano we added really made it just sound like an entirely different song.”

“Sleeptalk” Deluxe Edition Track Listing:

01. “Drunk”
02. “Crooked Soul”
03. “Burial Plot”
04. “Sleeptalk”
05. “The Embers Glow”
06. “The Color Black”
07. “Already Numb”
08. “Gates of Ivory”
09. “Starving to Be Empty”
10. “Crash and Burn”
11. “Drunk” (Reimagined)
12. “Burial Plot” (Reimagined)
13. “Crooked Soul” (Reimagined)
14. “Sleeptalk” (Reimagined)

As previously reported, Dayseeker will be hitting the road this fall with We Came As Romans, The Devil Wears Prada, and Hollow Front.

We Came As Romans Postpone “To Plant A Seed” 10th Anniversary Tour Once Again, Begin Recording New Album

We Came As Romans have postponed their “To Plant A Seed” 10th anniversary tour with The Devil Wears Prada, Gideon, and Dayseeker once again due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite this, there is some good news as the band have also started the recording process for their new album.

We Came As Romans said the following:

“We are incredibly bummed to announce that due to the current climate surrounding Covid-19, the TPAS tour we had planned for this spring will once again be moved to a later time frame. We will hold off on announcing new dates until there is more certainty the shows will play out. You can get refunds for your tickets at point of purchase.

This announcement isn’t all bad news though! We’ve officially entered the studio and started recording our sixth full length record! And while we work on this record to bring you new music this summer, we’re working on something special to make up for our tour postponement. So stay tuned, because we’ll have more great news to announce soon ;)”
