Watch Malevolence Perform “Karma” With Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos

During their August 13 set at the Bloodstock Open Air festival in Walton-on-Trent, UK, Malevolence were joined onstage by Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos for a performance of “Karma.” You can see pro-shot footage of that below. Malevolence’s Alex Taylor commented:

“We knew that we wanted to make Bloodstock a special show, so it only felt right that we invited a few special guests onto the stage with us to make the night even more memorable for the people of Bloodstock. I hit up Lorna Shore and asked if Will would be up for it, and he was on it straight away.”

Malevolence Premiere “Higher Place” Music Video

Malevolence have premiered a new video for their song “Higher Place.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Malicious Intent.”

Vocalist Alex Taylor commented:

“‘Higher Place‘ focuses on a subject that everyone will deal with at some point in loss; death/bereavement. This is one most heartfelt songs we have written as a band, however, once we began writing this song, it came together very naturally. This song is a huge step outside our comfort zone, we hope you enjoy it! The visuals for this song were our first venture into a narrative-driven video, filmed in our hometown of Sheffield. We worked closely with Enon Films to bring the concept to life.”

Director Gabriel Fernández-Gil added:

“The song inspired sorrow, drama, and a dark epicness, which is what guided us in the making of this video. In the story, you’ll be able to identify themes of loss, revenge, and the UK’s knife-crime epidemic. As the lyrics and instrumentation, our characters “ascend” to different metaphorical planes of existence or lack thereof.”

We are not in the business of cancelling shows and we don’t take it lightly.

In all the years we have been a band, you can count the amount of shows we’ve cancelled on one hand.

We would like to extend our sincerest apologies to The Acacia Strain, I AM and 156/Silence and their teams, as well as everyone who was excited to see us over in the states.

We will back as soon as we can and will make it up to you all.

Thank you for your understanding and your continued support”
