Pierce The Veil Premiere New Song “Even When I’m Not With You”

Pierce The Veil have premiered a new song titled “Even When I’m Not With You.” This track is from the band’s new album “The Jaws Of Life,” which will be released on February 10.

Vic Fuentes commented:

“Musically, it’s the first song we’ve ever created that utilizes the same looping riff throughout nearly the entire song. This was something that I have been trying to accomplish for years with our band and I’m excited that we finally found a way to do it with this one.”

He also added:

“This song was inspired by a text my manager sent me while I was going through a rough time. I thanked her for being there for me, and she said, ‘Even when I’m not with you, I’m still with you.’ That phrase touched my heart and inspired me to write a love song dedicated to my wife about no matter how far away I am on tour, I’m still devoted to her, and we will always be connected through our love.”

Pierce The Veil To Release New Album “The Jaws Of Life” In February, Premiere “Emergency Contact” Music Video

Pierce The Veil have revealed the details for their new album “The Jaws Of Life.” The effort will be released on February 10 and it can be pre-ordered HERE.

“The Jaws Of Life” Track Listing:

01. “Death Of An Executioner”
02. “Pass The Nirvana”
03. “Even When I’m Not With You”
04. “Emergency Contact”
05. “Flawless Execution”
06. “The Jaws Of Life”
07. “Damn The Man, Save The Empire”
08. “Resilience”
09. “Irrational Fears”
10. “Shared Trauma”
11. “So Far So Fake”
12. “Fractures”

Vic Fuentes said the following about the album:

“This album has truly brought us closer than we’ve ever been. It was extremely difficult for us to be off the road and apart for so long. We’ve never missed anything more than playing music together and never had such an strong appreciation for recording, touring, and simply being in the same room together than we do now. ‘The Jaws Of Life’ is about how life can sink its teeth into you and try to devour you. The negativity in the world and within your mind can be a vicious thing. We’re extremely grateful for this record, our fans, and the opportunity to play live music again.”

A video for the effort’s latest single, “Emergency Contact,” can be found below. Fuentes added the following about that:

“There’s so much desperation underlying the lyrics of this song. It talks about a relationship where one person is ready to take things to the next level while the other is still unsure. One person is begging the other to either move forward or to let them out because being stuck in the middle is torture.

I wrote this song in Seattle at Mike Herrera from MXPX’s home studio. He let me live there for a couple of months while working on the record. I love writing in Seattle because it gives me all of the ’90s grunge rock vibes. Plus, it rains all the time, and I love the rain.”

Pierce The Veil Premiere “Pass The Nirvana” Music Video

Pierce The Veil have premiered a new video for their latest single “Pass The Nirvana.” You can check that out below. Vic Fuentes previously said the following about the track:

“‘Pass The Nirvana‘ is about the many horrible traumas that the youth of America have endured over the past few years. COVID, no proms, no graduations, an insurrection, school shootings. The list goes on. Their lives have been tossed around like clothes in a dryer, as the tensions within our country have infiltrated our own homes, friends, and families. To me, the song represents a euphoric detachment from all of that anxiety and stress and about finding some form of peace or nirvana.”
