“We are excited to announce that we’ve recreated our song ‘Johnny’s Revenge‘ with guest features from 3 different bands: Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills, Dave Stephens from We Came As Romans and Craig Owens from D.R.U.G.S.. All of these singers are a part of the era we grew up in and have played a huge role in helping our scene become what it is today.

To celebrate 10 years of our album ‘The Fallout’, we wanted to do something special for the people who’ve stuck with us over the past decade. One of the songs our fans always gravitated towards was ‘Johnny’s Revenge‘, a theatrical piece that’s part of a trilogy we created over the span of 3 albums. We can’t wait for everyone to hear this new version!”

Bad Wolves Release “If Tomorrow Never Comes” EP

You can stream the latter two below:

Bad Wolves vocalist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz commented:

“‘If Tomorrow Never Comes‘ is a song about self-reflection and asking oneself who would show up to your funeral and what would they say about you. It was a lot of fun to incorporate Spencer Charnas’s vocals into the song. We’ve wanted to collaborate with him, and it came out better than we could’ve ever imagined. It’s got an energetic tempo and the message behind it is to remind the listener that none of us are guaranteed to wake up tomorrow so live each day with integrity, no regrets and to be present and treat today like it might be your last. We’re excited for fans to hear our new takes on this song in this new EP.”

Charnas added:

“The history between Ice Nine Kills and Bad Wolves goes way back, so a track together was long overdue. It was a blast to add to an already incredible song with an important message about living for today. I was stoked to hear how the final collaboration came together. Honored to have a part in the history of this killer record as the boys continue their path to dominating modern rock!”

Senses Fail Premiere Music Video For New Song “Death By Water” Featuring Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas

Senses Fail have released a new song titled “Death By Water.” This track features Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas and an official video for it can be found below:

Senses Fail’s Buddy Nielsen commented:

“The song is named after a section of the poem Wasteland by T.S. Elliot and pulls references from the section. Personally, it is about the struggle of entering the dark night of the soul with regard to becoming a father. In many traditions, there is anecdote and mythology pertaining to the journey of ego death or death and rebirth of a certain time in one’s life. When you become a parent your single self dies and you become eternally linked to life, there is a letting go of the person you once were to become a parent. There was a level of loss I felt having to let go of who I was previously and step into a role that I didn’t feel fully comfortable in. I was blindly jumping into the unknown and this is what this song talks about. Death by water can have the inverse motif of birth and cleansing. When someone is baptized in Christianity they are reborn in the eye of God. I use the theme of death by water as a rebirth in the eye of “God”; God being my child, and me being reborn as their parent.

This song represents the descent into the underworld where I am to meet with the soul of my departed grandmother. The entrance into the underworld is always marked by a crossing of water or submersion into water and into a lower plane of existence. ‘Death By Water’ is specifically about the journey of my soul through the plane of existence into the underworld.”
