Architects Cancel North American Tour

Architects have cancelled their North American tour with We Came As Romans and Like Moths To Flames. The trek was unable to move forward due to “logistical issues.”

Architects commented:

“It pains us to announce that despite the best efforts of everyone in our band, our crew and the rest of the team, a number of logistical issues have forced us to cancel our upcoming North America tour. We had been looking forward to playing so many new songs for you, but everything from transportation to visa approval timelines and other hurdles have made the trip impossible at this stage. We recognize the last few years have been a challenging time for everyone and we were really excited to perform for you and share moments together that only live music can facilitate. We will announce new plans to return as soon as we we can. The last thing we want to do is announce new dates that we will be unable to uphold.

Thank you for your understanding. We will be back.

In the meantime, refunds for tickets & VIP will be made automatically to the method of payment used to purchase.”

Architects Premiere “When We Were Young” Music Video

Architects have premiered a new video for their new song “When We Were Young.” Drummer Dan Searle commented:

“‘When We Were Young‘ is a song that recognises what is gained and what is lost as we get older. As the world unfolds around us we can become overwhelmed by its endless complexity. When I was 20 I thought I had the whole thing sussed, today I’m pretty sure I’ll never understand reality. We lose our innocence as we age, and although fatalism and cynicism can creep in, we also begin to shift our focus toward gratitude for existence and for those that we love.”

Architects’ Sam Carter To Release New Children’s Book

Architects frontman Sam Carter and his fiancé Abby Kirk have announced a new children’s book titled “Sophia Fox Dog Gets Adopted.” Fans will be able to purchase the book HERE tomorrow (April 15) at 9:00am GMT.

Carter commented:

“I’m so extremely excited to announce that myself and my fiancé have written a children’s book starring none other than @sophiafoxdog this is something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m so stoked that we’re doing it!

“Sophia Fox Dog Gets Adopted” was written by Sam Carter and Abby Kirk when Abby was working in a school with many children who had been in foster care or through the adoption process. They realised that their stories were largely not represented in childrens books and wanted to write a book for the class to show that their stories were important too.

The story also aims to teach children to think about what rescue dogs may have gone through in the past before finding their adoptive families. This is a cause close to our hearts and large portion of the proceeds will go to @wunderdogrescue_ and @romanian.rescue.appeal to help more dogs like Sophia find their forever families.

You can also get your hands on a Sophia Plushie and a signed card from Myself & Abby and a Pawprint from the star herself Sophia

This has been in the works for a long time and I’m so happy to finally be able to share it with you! Thank you @mddnco for believing in us and this book and thank you @chexnerxvic for doing such an incredible job on the illustration ❤️

Sophia Fox Dog Gets Adopted is out
Friday 9am GMT from www.Sophiafoxdog.com ❤️”
