Stick To Your Guns Premiere New Song “More Of Us Than Them”

Stick To Your Guns have premiered a new song titled “More Of Us Than Them.” Notably, the track features a breakdown that was written by late Architects guitarist Tom Searle.

Jesse Barnett commented:

“In 2015, Tom Searle sent me an email that had a breakdown he had written that he thought was “too STYG” to be used for @architects. It hasn’t seen the light of day until yesterday. It already feels awesome finally releasing a song that’s been finished since December 2019 but to have Tom’s hands on this song makes this one of the most special songs on the record and one of the most special STYG songs ever. So give it a spin, turn it up and when you get the the end of the song be sure to thank heavy music genius, Tom fucking Searle, for his contribution. Thank you so much to everyone who has listened. Through the pain, frustration, grief and anger we still dare and still struggle to invent a new world. Thank you Tom, @stygoc @architects @wzrdbld @vitalo88 @end_hits_records & @purenoiserecs.
T//S FOREVER. REST IN POWER COMRADE.”

He also added:

“This song is about understanding that the people who run our day to day lives don’t have our interests at heart. They don’t have the planets interest at heart. All they care about is ever growing profit and power. These people are addicts and they’re addicted to the worst thing possible: Greed. In this system, money is the only thing that buys freedom. But what does this simple statement also imply? What is being said with out actually being said? It’s saying that if you don’t have money, you don’t have freedom. This is an important distinction to make. None of us asked to be born. We didn’t decide to be on this earth. This is an important distinction to make. None of us asked to be born. We didn’t decide to be on this earth. The fact that we have pay walls in front of things that are necessary for survival is fucking criminal and I vow to wake up everyday with the intention of tearing that system down and although Tom is no longer with us, I think he’d be proud of what we all made together.”
