Holding Absence Premiere “Birdcage” Lyric Video

Holding Absence have premiered a lyric video for their new song “Birdcage.“ This track and the band’s recent single “Gravity” were released as a limited edition 7″ picture disc today (April 17). Lucas Woodland commented:

“‘Birdcage‘ is probably the most poppy track we’ve ever released as HA, and we’re really proud of the outcome. Working with Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon/Twin Atlantic/Don Broco) gave us the great opportunity to refine our sound in a way we’d not yet tried before, so the aim for this track was to make it as catchy and sleek as possible. We’re very happy with the outcome and can’t wait for people to get their hands on the double-sided picture disk!”

Holding Absence Premiere “Gravity” Music Video

Holding Absence have premiered a new video for their new song “Gravity.“ This track and another new song titled “Birdcage” will be released as a limited edition 7″ picture disc on April 17.

Lucas Woodland commented:

“We’re ecstatic to be releasing ‘Gravity‘ today – We feel like it’s a real step forward in maturity and quality for our band! The song was originally going to be put on our sophomore album but, after our VISA’s got denied and our US tour got cancelled, we decided we should make the best of a bad situation and work towards getting it out as soon as possible.

We’re always trying our best as a band to release music as often and unconventionally as possible, so putting out another Double-A single release is something we’re super excited about, and we can’t wait to show people the second track ‘Birdcage‘ in the coming weeks.”
