Paradise Lost To Release “Gothic Live At Roadburn 2016”

Paradise Lost have announced that they will be releasing a new live album titled “Gothic Live At Roadburn 2016” tomorrow (March 5) via Bandcamp. Downloads of Costin Chioreanu’s video animations from the set will also be included. For now, you can check out an animated video for “Shattered” below:

Aaron Aedy commented:

“I remember the Roadburn Gothic show as a very special evening – from the amazing crowd of ever-willing growlers to Costin’s beautiful imagery that elevated the show to a whole new level!

Each of his visualisations were made to move and change with the albums songs as the set progressed. It truly made for a unique concert experience that shall live long in my memory.

Walter and the Roadburn team are absolute legends and it was our pleasure and privilege to play the album in its entirety for the first time ever at their wonderful festival.

Paradise Lost Postpone “Obsidian” Leeds, UK Show To 2022

Paradise Lost have been forced to postpone their show at The Warehouse in Leeds, UK once again due to the coronavirus pandemic. The concert, which will feature a full album performance of “Obsidian,” will now take place on February 5, 2022. The band commented:

“Once again we regret to announce the postponement of our ‘Obsidian‘ show at The Warehouse Leeds. Due to the uncertainty of live shows returning by May and travel restrictions, we have come to conclusion that it would be safest to reschedule for 2022. We hope by then things will have returned to some kind of normality and we will be able to be in the same room again! Original tickets remain valid.”

Paradise Lost Premiere “Darker Thoughts” Video

Paradise Lost have premiered a new video for their new song “Darker Thoughts.“ This track is from the band’s new album “Obsidian,” which was released today (May 15). Frontman Nick Holmes commented:

“Musically, this is a song of 2 halves and was originally written as an intro towards the end of the ‘Obsidian‘ writing process. As a result, it’s one of the more spontaneous songs on the album. Lyrically, it’s a song about choosing the wrong path – failing to look before you leap, and dealing with the consequence of dubious decisions.”

Watch First Trailer For “Paradise City” TV Series

A trailer for the first season of “Paradise City” has been released online. The show, which is a spin-off of the 2017 film “American Satan,” features: Andy Biersack (Black Veil Brides), Ben Bruce (Asking Alexandria), BooBoo Stewart, Bella Thorne, the late Cameron Boyce, Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens), Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God), Juliet Simms, Sid Wilson (Slipknot), Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper, etc.), Javier Reyes (Animals As Leaders), Jose Mangin, and more. Here’s an official synopsis:

“The lives of a rock star with ties to the occult and a young rookie kid who idolizes him collide through their broken homes built by the music business.”

Paradise Lost Premiere “Ghosts” Lyric Video

Paradise Lost have premiered a lyric video for their new song “Ghosts.“ This track is from the band’s new album “Obsidian,” which will be released on May 15. Frontman Nick Holmes commented:

“This song tips a cap to the goth rock music that was ubiquitous when we were teenagers. Even as young Death metal fans, a lot of that old 80’s music is still very much the soundtrack of our early lives. Lyrically it’s about being haunted by the past and a shallow belief in something you hope will destroy the demons.”

Paradise Lost Premiere “Fall From Grace” Video

Paradise Lost have premiered a new video for their new song “Fall From Grace.” This track is from the band’s new album “Obsidian,“ which will be released on May 15.

Frontman Nick Holmes commented:

“This is a song about struggling through difficult times, and a point blank refusal to accept that the end is within range.”

Guitarist Greg Mackintosh added:

“The first song written for ‘Obsidian‘ so probably one of the closest in style to the previous album ‘Medusa‘. It has quite a few different elements to it but is essentially a classic PL song. Doom laden, but hopefully heartfelt and subtle in places.”

Paradise Lost Tease New Song

Paradise Lost have posted a teaser for their new song “Fall From Grace.“ The full track will debut on Friday (March 20) and it will also appear on the band’s new album “Obsidian“ (out May 15).
