Darkest Hour, The Acacia Strain, Integrity, Etc. Set For “Benefit Bash” Concert

The organizers of Furnace Fest have announced a new benefit concert, which they are calling “Benefit Bash.” The event will take place at the Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL on June 17 and it will feature: Darkest Hour, The Acacia Strain, Integrity, Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster, Left To Suffer, Capra, The Judas Cradle, Across Five Aprils, Holy+Gold, Reclaim The Empyre, Stay Lost, and Joyboy.

The following was said about the show:

“What better way to raise funds to help the Sloss Foundation than by throwing a Benefit Bash? We’re excited to present Benefit Bash on Saturday, June 17th, featuring @darkest_hour_official @theacaciastrain @integrityofficial @matsod @lefttosuffer @capraband @judasband @acrossfiveaprils_official @holygoldband @reclaimtheempyre @staylostal @joyboybham!

Profits from this show will improve three areas related to the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark:

The Shed: Stage repair and enhanced lighting.

Under the viaduct & walkways: increased lighting.

The Field: Leveling, removing debris, planting new grass.

Even if you can’t make it to Benefit Bash (which would suck!), please consider purchasing a ticket as a small way of giving back to the Sloss Foundation, which welcomes us each year with warmth and excitement.

The Acacia Strain To Film New Live Release On Upcoming Tour

The Acacia Strain have revealed that they are planning to film every show on their upcoming tour with Fit For An Autopsy, Full Of Hell, and Primitive Man. The footage will be used for a new live release.

Vocalist Vincent Bennett commented:

“@STUMUFFINS WILL BE ON THIS TOUR FILMING EVERY SINGLE SHOW. WE ARE GONNA HAVE LIKE 5 CAMERAS SET UP FOR MULTI ANGLE SHOTS. WILL WE BE RELEASING A DVD OF THE TOUR AT A FUTURE DATE? MAYBE!

We just got home from Europe and we leave for this mf in one week. Shows are selling out one by one, so if you don’t have a ticket and you want to make a show I recommend getting one! Avoid disappointment and future regret! Don’t message @joebad saying you couldn’t get a ticket asking if he has any extras; HE DOESN’T! Don’t ask @theevaultofheaven for guest list; HE WILL SAY “I do not know you”! (Make sure you tell @devinshidaker you’re happy to see him, though)

WHO AM I SEEING? WHERE AM I SEEING YOU? WILL YOU DO YOU BEST TO BE IMMORTALIZED THROUGH THE LENS OF STU MUFFINS? WHAT SONGS DO YOU WANT TO HEAR? ARE YOU BRINGING ME CANDY AND VIDEO GAMES? These questions and more start being answered next week. Hope to see you all soon!”
