Havok Premiere “Fear Campaign” Video

Havok have premiered a new video for their song “Fear Campaign.“ This track is from the band’s latest album “V.“ David Sanchez commented:

“Although it was written in 2019, ‘Fear Campaign‘ sounds like it should be the theme song for 2020. The lyrics seem to become more and more relevant as the weeks go by. In the video, we wanted to capture the manic nature of media, propaganda, and other forms of mind control that have plagued civilization for thousands of years. The fear campaign appears to be at an all-time high right now and the only way to end it is to stop being afraid. Reject fear.”

Havok Premiere “Post-Truth Era” Lyric Video

Havok have premiered a lyric video for their new song “Post-Truth Era.“ This track is from the band’s new album “V,“ which will be released on May 1.

David Sanchez commented:

“’Post-Truth Era’ is debuting at a very uncertain time for humankind. Many things are unclear at the moment, so I hope that this song will resonate with people. Our species has overcome so much to get us where we are today. We should not take this for granted. Please pay attention to the lyrics and understand that we have the power to change our world. We need to read between the lines, while keeping our spirits high. Know that we are truly all in this together and we will come out of this situation, stronger and wiser than ever.“

Hatebreed Cancel Spring Tour With After The Burial, Havok, & Creeping Death

Hatebreed have cancelled their spring tour with After The Burial, Havok, and Creeping Death due to the coronavirus pandemic. The band commented:

“Regretfully HATEBREED is going to cancel all of their shows in May. As of now its unclear how many venues will actually be allowed to stay open and in some instances some are already planning to be closed. Beyond the reality that there won’t be enough shows to hold together a tour, we are most concerned about everyone’s health and safety. Canceling is the responsible thing to do in the interest of everyone staying well so we can all look ahead to having shows together in the future. Tickets are refundable at point of purchase.”

Havok Premiere “Phantom Force” Music Video

Havok have premiered a new video for their new song “Phantom Force.“ This track is from the band’s new album “V,“ which will be released on May 1.

Reece Scruggs commented:

“Somewhere in the middle of writing ‘V‘ we all came together and made the decision that we needed a full blown face peeler track. I remember David saying ‘Reign In Blood tempo’, so I came up with something almost immediately and sent it over to the guys.

And aside from some subtle stylistic details it stayed pretty true to that original concept. ‘Phantom Force‘ as a first single will assure our fans and skeptics that we haven’t lost a step in making vicious, straight forward, non-gimmicked heavy metal.”

David Sanchez added:

“‘Phantom Force‘ is about the mysterious deaths that happen during sleep paralysis in the Hmong people. These people fled their war-torn homeland and could not seem to escape a terrifying fate. The goal with this video was to visually represent the fear and panic that people must’ve felt just before their sudden nocturnal demise. Watch at your own risk…”

The music is dense with lots of different intertwining parts and we’re beyond excited to release our best-sounding record to date.”

Bassist Brandon Bruce added:

“I am really excited about this record and to be playing bass with Havok. We really focused on structure and songwriting while maintaining the heavy riffs and brutal music the band is known for. I’m proud of how it turned out and can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
