GoFundMe Launched For Obituary Bassist Terry Butler’s Grandsons Following Death Of His Daughter

Jona Wright, the daughter of Obituary bassist Terry Butler, has sadly passed away at the age of 27. According to the Tampa Bay Times, Wright died from injuries she sustained after her car overturned multiple times on Interstate 75 in Florida. Her two sons, ages six and 10, were in the car at the time of the accident, but they made it out with minor injuries. For now, the children will be staying with their grandparents and a GoFundMe has been launched to help them out.

Obituary’s “Slowly We Rot” To Be Reissued On Limited Edition Vinyl

Obituary‘s “Slowly We Rot” is set to be reissued on solid yellow and transparent green vinyl via Music On Vinyl. It will be available on January 11 in Europe and January 18 in North America and it will be limited to 2,000 individually numbered copies.

Hatebreed Announce 25th Anniversary Tour

Hatebreed have officially revealed the dates for the first leg of their 25th anniversary tour. Obituary, Cro-Mags, Terror, and Fit For An Autopsy will serve as support. Jamey Jasta commented:

“I can’t believe it’s been 25 years already. We’re excited to bring out this massive tour package with some of our favorite bands. Every band on this bill is a headliner in their own right. The show will be run festival-style with bands you don’t want to miss playing early. Activate the pit!”
