Skindred To Record Live Album At London Show

Skindred have announced that they will be recording their first-ever live album during a show at the Roundhouse in London, England. The concert will be held on November 21, 2020 and tickets will be available this Friday (September 6) at Live Nation.

Drummer Arya Goggin commented:

“We are stoked to be playing at the Roundhouse. It has been on my personal bucket list for a while, so recording it as a live album makes it all the better for us to bring our A game and put on an amazing show.

Skindred are all about supporting the live industry and helping to keep historical music venues open, so playing in rooms like the Roundhouse only endorses our want to support these fantastic rooms rather than see them turned into car parks.”

The group’s manager Seven Webster (7pm Management) added:

“The band have always wanted to record a live album and for us it was just a matter of finding somewhere extremely unique to record it. The Roundhouse, aside from being a landmark venue, has had some incredible rock bands play there over the years, from the likes of The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, the Ramones and Motörhead, so where else were we going to do it.”

Skindred Team Up With Box Social Brewing For “Union Black” Jamaican Stout

Skindred have teamed up with Box Social Brewing to create “Union Black” Jamaican stout beer. You can purchase that HERE. Here’s a description of the beverage:

“Based off of Skindred’s fourth album, Union Black, this beer is full of soul and flavour. Allspice and vanilla give an unctuous sweetness which plays against the roasted notes of coffee and dark chocolate from the malt. Made vegan friendly so all members of the band could enjoy it, this Stout is still full bodied, rich and moreish.”

Skindred Premiere “Loud And Clear” Lyric Video

Skindred have premiered a lyric video for their song “Loud And Clear.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Big Tings.” Drummer Arya Goggin commented:

“We are currently gearing up for a very heavy year of extensive touring and are also hoping to work on writing new material in the gaps. The track ‘Loud and Clear’ from ‘Big Tings’ was a very popular choice with our fans, so we have decided to put it out to coincide with our tour with Disturbed. We hit the road with Disturbed in April, with shows throughout Europe and the UK, then we are literally straight into festival season; finally to round off the year we are taking the ‘That’s My Jam’ Tour to Europe (with Blood Command as our special guest), which finishes in late December. So, in short, it’s going to be a rollercoaster of a year!”
