Apocalyptica Premiere “Ashes Of The Modern World” Video

Apocalyptica have premiered a new video for their new song “Ashes Of The Modern World.” This track is from the band’s new instrumental album “Cell-0,” which will be released on January 10.

The group said the following about the new record:

“It is tough to express without lyrics, but in ‘Cell-0’, we found particles of our universe previously unknown to us. Millions of notes combine to create music just as millions of cells combine to create life, and when you visualize the whole thing, similar patterns appear.”

Eicca Toppinen added:

“These new songs have so many layers and are so complex, and it’s not always easy to point exactly what they are about. But I think that’s also the beauty of instrumental music, that the listener always can feel free to experience the same songs in very, very different ways. It’s also one reason why we don’t want to explain the songs before they’re experienced.”

Apocalyptica Sign With Silver Lining Music

Apocalyptica have signed a new deal with Silver Lining Music and are planning to release their new instrumental album through the label in early 2020. The band commented:

“We are excited to learn how a slim record company structure plus all the marketing instruments of perhaps the biggest metal music powerhouse (with festivals, touring business, merchandise, etc) are set up for 2020. This feels like the absolute right company for the times we are in. We are very excited about our new album and we have the strongest belief that Silver Lining is the right partner for our music.”
