Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish) has premiered a new video for her new song “Tango.” The track, which features Apocalyptica, is from her new solo album, “Frisson Noir,” which will be released on June 12.
Turunen commented:
“I wanted this song to be a special one, and as I have always loved the sound of the cello, Apocalyptica was the perfect artist to work with. Eicca, Perttu and Paavo made my dream come true.”
Apocalyptica added:
“We have known Tarja since the mid-’90s and working with her has always been at the top of our list of featuring artists or collaborators. It was so great to finally find the time and the song to work together. She originally redefined what it means to combine classical singing with metal and we are so happy for this collaboration.”
