3 Doors Down Cancel Two Shows Over New COVID-19 Regulations

3 Doors Down have apparently decided to cancel their October 7 show in Raleigh, NC and their October 9 show in Atlanta, GA in response to new COVID-19 regulations at the venues. The band issued the following statement:

“Unfortunately, we will be cancelling our shows in Raleigh, NC (10.7) and Atlanta, GA (10.9) due to new regulations put in place since the announcement of these shows. Refunds will be issued at the point of purchase. Simpsonville, SC (10.8) is still on. West Palm Beach, FL (10.16) is moving from iThink Financial to Mizner Park in Boca Raton, FL. VIP packages for this show have been canceled due to the change in venue however ALL tickets will still be honored from iThink Financial for Mizner Park. We apologize for any and all inconveniences. We love you and hope to see you again soon.”

Live Nation To Offer Fans $20 Tickets For Upcoming Shows From Slipknot, Korn, Megadeth, Etc.

Live Nation have announced a special “Return To Live” ticket promotion. The offer will launch on July 28 at 12:00pm EDT / 3:00pm PDT and it will give fans a chance to get $20 tickets for shows from Slipknot, Korn, Megadeth, KISS, Judas Priest and more. Notably, there will also be a pre-sale for T-Mobile and Sprint customers on July 27.

3 Doors Down Announce “3 X LIVE” Pay-Per-View Series

3 Doors Down have announced a “3 X LIVE” pay-per-view series. The series will kick off next month and it will feature three virtual shows live from Nashville, TN. The first one will be held on February 5 and it will feature a full album performance of “The Better Life” plus three never-before-heard songs. The second one will be held on February 19 and it will feature a “Greatest Hits Acoustic” set and the third one will be held on March 5 and it will feature a “Greatest Hits Live & Electric” set. “I think we can all safely say 2020 is a year we all want to get behind us. We jumped when presented with the opportunity to kick-off 2021 with these PPV shows. Former 3 Doors Down Bassist Todd Harrell Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison On Gun Possession Charge

According to WLOX, former 3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon. Judge Robert Krebs gave the musician the maximum penalty at his sentencing in Jackson County Circuit Court on Thursday (October 11). Harrell was arrested back in June after authorities found guns and drugs in his St. Martin, Mississippi home while responding to an alarm during a domestic dispute that turned physical. After his arrest, Harrell got himself into more trouble for introducing narcotics into a correctional facility after drugs were found in his mail during a screening at the Jackson County Jail. He is still facing a jail contraband charge for that as well. Harrell was also previously charged with vehicular homicide in 2013 after he killed 47-year-old Paul Shoulders, while driving under the influence. He was fired from 3 Doors Down shortly after.

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s new live release “Live in Atlantic City” is set to be released on September 21. The effort will feature a show the band played at the Decades Rock Arena with special guests 3 Doors Down, Hank Williams Jr., and Bo Bice. Doctor Of The Late Matt Roberts (Ex-3 Doors Down) Found Not Guilty

According to AL.com, Dr. Richard Snellgrove, who prescribed the late Matt Roberts (ex-3 Doors Down) fentanyl and other drugs, has been acquitted of federal charges. The jury returned their verdict on Monday. Snellgrove was charged with 13 counts of writing prescriptions that were not medically necessary. He is still facing a wrongful death suit.

According to the Sun Herald, Dr. Richard Snellgrove, who prescribed the late Matt Roberts (ex-3 Doors Down) fentanyl and other drugs, is set to go on trial tomorrow (May 11) in Mobile, Alabama. Snellgrove is charged with 13 counts of writing prescriptions that were not medically necessary. Roberts passed away in August 2016 from a drug overdose and if prosecutors prove the fentanyl Snellgrove prescribed killed the guitarist he will receive a mandatory minimum of 20 years in prison. If he is found guilty on all other counts he could be sentenced to life in prison.
