We Came As Romans To Perform “To Plant A Seed” In Full During April Livestream Show

Since their “To Plant A Seed” 10th anniversary tour was postponed once again, We Came As Romans have decided to perform the album in full during a livestream show. The virtual event will take place on April 23 and tickets for it can be found HERE.

Dave Stephens said the following:

“We’re so stoked to announce this livestream for our ‘To Plant A Seed‘ 10-year anniversary tour/set. While we were in the middle of this tour last year, we had to unexpectedly pack up and go home due to COVID-19, which left us, and a lot of fans, disappointed that we couldn’t be performing this set.

The best way we could think of to bring these songs to our fans was through a livestream. Along with the stream, we’re releasing very limited edition merch, designed by our own Andy Glass, just like we did on the tour. Our hope is to bring this set to life — wherever you can watch it to help us all continue to get through tough times.”

We Came As Romans Postpone “To Plant A Seed” 10th Anniversary Tour Once Again, Begin Recording New Album

We Came As Romans have postponed their “To Plant A Seed” 10th anniversary tour with The Devil Wears Prada, Gideon, and Dayseeker once again due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite this, there is some good news as the band have also started the recording process for their new album.

We Came As Romans said the following:

“We are incredibly bummed to announce that due to the current climate surrounding Covid-19, the TPAS tour we had planned for this spring will once again be moved to a later time frame. We will hold off on announcing new dates until there is more certainty the shows will play out. You can get refunds for your tickets at point of purchase.

This announcement isn’t all bad news though! We’ve officially entered the studio and started recording our sixth full length record! And while we work on this record to bring you new music this summer, we’re working on something special to make up for our tour postponement. So stay tuned, because we’ll have more great news to announce soon ;)”

The Kyle Pavone Foundation Launches COVID-19 Relief Scholarship For Struggling Musicians

The Kyle Pavone Foundation, the organization launched by the family of late We Came As Romans frontman Kyle Pavone, have launched a COVID-19 relief scholarship to assist struggling musicians amid the ongoing pandemic. The organization has teamed up with the Battle Creek Community Foundation for the initiative, which they are calling the “Kyle Cares Scholarship.”

The scholarship will help artists “who have encountered a hardship due to COVID-19 and are in need of financial assistance to help with mental/physical health, substance abuse treatment, nutrition/food deficits, or housing.” Applicants will be able to receive up to $2,000 until funds run out.

Pavone‘s parents, Vince and Caroline, commented:

“In honor of our son Kyle Pavone, we wanted to do something that would help musicians during this time of great need. Even under normal circumstances, the life of a musician can be a lot to handle, and the current situation we’re living in only amplifies that struggle. We thought the best thing we could do, what Kyle would want us to do, is to help musicians who are facing difficult times because of circumstances that are beyond their control.”

“Since Kyle‘s passing, we’ve always said that the opposite of addiction is connection. If we can help even just one musician get through these tough times, stay connected to loved ones and help them continue to pursue their dreams, then we’ve done something Kyle would be proud of.”
