Thousand Below Premiere “Gone To Me” Music Video

Thousand Below have premiered a new video for their new song “Gone To Me.” You can check that out below:

James Deberg commented:

“‘Gone To Me‘ is about navigating the painfully complicated scenario of having someone you used to be in love with — who once caused severe emotional damage to you — still try and remain in your life on positive terms. Shutting them out completely feels wrong, as this person was such an important part of your existence for so long. But you also eventually realize that any attempts or efforts to keep them close in your life, while they move on from you faster than you’ve moved on from them, just causes you more pain in the long run.”

“Having to watch someone who was once your best friend and the most important part of your life slowly move on to connect with other people tears you apart, but not having them around at all also causes its own type of pain. The song is about the double-edged sword of trying to move forward.”

Thousand Below Premiere New Video For “Chemical” Featuring Sumner Peterson (Dead Lakes)

Thousand Below have premiered a new video for their new version of “Chemical.” This version of the track features Sumner Peterson (Dead Lakes) and it can be found on the band’s latest EP “Let Go Of Your Love.”

Bassist Josh Billimoria commented:

“When we wrote the original version of ‘chemical,’ it was one of the first songs we built from scratch with electronic instruments and production instead of coming up with guitar parts and adding the production after. This version takes that idea even farther and strips out all the guitars completely. I spent the first few weeks of quarantine just messing around with sounds and trying to put a new spin on the song but still keep the same vibe.

We got our good friend Sumner Peterson from the band Dead Lakes to sing on the bridge since we absolutely love his voice and the emotion he brings to every track. He even wrote a totally new part for the bridge that takes the song to a whole new level.”

Thousand Below To Release Acoustic/Reimagined EP “Let Go Of Your Love”

Thousand Below will be releasing a new acoustic/reimagined EP titled “Let Go Of Your Love” on August 21. You can find a video for the title track below. Here’s the full track listing:

01. “Let Go Of Your Love”
02. “Chemical” (feat. Sumner Peterson)
03. “Alone (Out Of My Head)”
04. “171 xo”
05. “Lost Between”

Thousand Below Premiere “171 xo” Music Video

Thousand Below have premiered a new video for their song “171 xo.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Gone In Your Wake.“

James Deberg commented:

“‘171 xo‘ has been a personal favorite of ours since we finished recording ‘Gone In Your Wake‘ and it has grown into one of our favorite songs to play live. We talked to some length about having this song be one of the lead singles, but we ultimately felt the other three songs we chose showcased the diversity of the album better.”

“This song is about the stage in a relationship that sometimes happens after you split up — where it seems things have finally ended once and for all, but you still occasionally see one another. It’s about the hopeless phase of denial that this stage ultimately becomes in which other people have come in between you and the person you love, but you both still have feelings you are trying to suppress from one another.

I wanted to capture the frustration of having someone surface back into your life as only a fraction of the part of your world they used to be, and the frustration that comes from someone you love only making you a priority when other people in their life have hurt them and they wish to feel something safe again.”

“The ‘Killed And Born Again‘ tour that began this February was such an amazing experience and it was the first time we played ‘171 xo‘ live. The song got such a great reaction from the crowd and has such good energy that we felt we had to do a music video for it. We filmed the music video on a day of the KABA tour before the show with some very talented friends of ours and we think it came out great.”
