Vans Warped Tour Founder Kevin Lyman Hospitalized

Kevin Lyman, founder of the Vans Warped Tour, has been hospitalized for an undisclosed reason. He said the following on Twitter:

“37 years of hard charging in the music business and it to [sic] only two weeks of teaching to put me in the hospital. Seriously take care of yourselves we are not invincible!”

This news comes after the Warped Tour completed its final cross-country run earlier this month.

Final Vans Warped Tour Show To Be Recorded For “The Final Hours” Live Compilation

The last date of the Vans Warped Tour’s final cross-country run, which is set to take place on August 5 at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, FL, will be recorded for a new live compilation called “The Final Hours.” The release will include two songs from each artist and proceeds will go towards FEND. Good Charlotte will be playing a surprise set at the Columbia, MD date of the Vans Warped Tour’s final cross-country run today (July 29). The news was confirmed in the below tweet:

More Special Guests Added To Select Dates Of Vans Warped Tour

Some more special guests have been added to the Vans Warped Tour’s final cross-country run. The latest additions include: Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, who will perform in Noblesville, Indiana on July 24, Mest, who will perform in Tinley Park, Illinois on July 21, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, who will perform in Atlanta, Georgia on July 31 and in Jacksonville, Florida on August 2. Furthermore, Falling In Reverse have extended their time on the trek and will now perform on July 18 – 23 and July 25 – August 2.

New Found Glory Added To Three Florida Dates On 2018 Vans Warped Tour

New Found Glory have been added as one of the special guests at three of the Florida dates on the Vans Warped Tour’s final cross-country run. Those shows include:

Islander Kicked Off 2018 Vans Warped Tour

It looks like Islander have been kicked off the Vans Warped Tour’s final cross-country run after only playing one show. The band confirmed the news in the below video saying they were removed from the trek due to frontman Mikey Carvajal damaging a backline drum set by jumping into it. The group were originally set to perform from July 1 through July 8.

Blink-182 Were Scheduled To Play A Surprise Set At Warped Tour

Blink-182 were apparently planning to play a surprise set on the Vans Warped Tour’s final cross-country run, but they ended up having to cancel as Travis Barker continues to battle blood clots in his arms. The news was revealed by the Warped Tour’s official Instagram, while responding to a fan. On another note, more special guests have been confirmed for the tour including Cassadee Pope, who will be performing on July 30-31, and William Ryan Key (Yellowcard), who will be performing on July 10-14.
