As previously reported, Steven Adler (ex-Guns N’ Roses) recently suffered a minor wound after accidentally stabbing himself. The drummer has since shared a video to apologize for all the “media confusion” and to let everyone know that he is “alive and well.”
UPDATE: A representative for Adler has now told TMZ that the stabbing was an accident and that it was not a suicide attempt. They went on to say that the injury is a “very minor, superficial wound” and that the drummer is still planning to perform in Las Vegas on July 12. The rep also told the site that Adler is still sober.
According to TMZ, former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler was rushed to the hospital after stabbing himself in his Los Angeles, CA home earlier tonight (June 27). Someone called 911 after the incident and police and EMTs were sent to the scene. The wound is located in Adler’s stomach region and it is reportedly non-life threatening. No one else is suspected to have been involved.
Steven Adler (ex-Guns N’ Roses) has announced that Ariel Kamin, who sings in an Argentinian Guns N’ Roses tribute band called Son Of A Gun, will now be fronting Adler’s Appetite. He’s replacing Constantine Maroulis (“American Idol”, etc.), who sang for the group at a number of shows earlier in the year. Here’s the band’s current dates:

The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund will hold the fourth annual Ride For Ronnie motorcycle ride and concert on May 6. The event is set feature a ride, which will start at the Harley-Davidson store in Glendale, CA, before heading up the highway at 11AM PT to the Los Encinos Park where a concert will be held. Among the performers is Steven Adler and his all-star band, which will include: Marten Andersson (Lizzy Borden, Steelheart), Ira Black (I Am Morbid, Metal Church, Lizzy Borden), Robert Crane (Black Star Riders), Mike Dupke (Dee Snider, W.A.S.P.), David “Rock” Feinstein (Elf), Constantine Maroulis (“American Idol”, “Rock Of Ages”), Tanya O’ Callahan (Dee Snider), Carl Restivo (Tom Morello’s Nightwatchman, etc.), Joe Retta (Dio Disciples, Heaven & Earth), Joey Scott (Lizzy Borden), Patrick Stone (Budderside), Michael Thomas (Faster Pussycat), and Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders, etc.). Other performers include: Dio Disciples, Beastö Blancö (featuring Chuck Garric and Alice Cooper’s daughter Calico Cooper), Classless Act (featuring Slash’s son London Hudson), One More From The Road (Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band), and Railgun. The whole event is being put on to raise awareness and funds for cancer prevention and research for a cure.
Steven Adler (ex-Guns N’ Roses) recently announced that Constantine Maroulis (“American Idol”, “Rock Of Ages” fame) would be fronting the newly formed Adler’s Appetite, and now it appears the rest of the lineup has been confirmed. It will include: Extreme’s Carl Restivo on rhythm guitar, Lynch Mob’s Sean McNabb on bass, and Fastback’s Michael Thomas on lead guitar. The band will be performing at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA on May 10, before heading out on an Australian tour. Summer festival appearances and a fall tour are being planned as well.
