Doro To Livestream Upcoming Drive-In Concert

Doro will be playing another drive-in show in Bühl, Germany on August 1 and fans will be able to stream it live via airtango.live for 5.99 euros. Doro said the following:

“Over the last few months, I really missed my band and fans. The drive-in show has been a real unique experience and career highlight for me. That’s why I’m really looking forward to the final show on August 1st in Brühl. We’ll celebrate together and have a great time. It feels so good to be rocking alongside with you again. Hopefully, we can soon enjoy normal shows again as well. All the fans who can’t be present at the show on August 1st in Brühl will have the chance to stream the gig from home.”

Doro Premieres “Brickwall” Video

Doro has premiered a new video for her new single “Brickwall.” The track is available in digital outlets now and it will also be available on vinyl on July 31.

Doro previously said the following:

“Since February, I’ve been back in the studio in the USA. There are some pretty awesome things happening in these writing sessions.”

“‘Brickwall’ is a harbinger for the upcoming album, that will be released in 2021. I want to give my fans a taste of what it’s going to be like — and the song also fits quite well with these dark times.

The lyrics are about unbreakable, unconditional love for a person in deep trouble. Even though it isn’t always easy to deal with that person, you still do everything to support them and get through the dark times side by side — even if you literally have to tear down walls.”

“The B-side will feature a great live version of ‘Soldier Of Metal’. The song was recorded during our recent ‘Forever Warriors’ tour in winter, where the song was celebrated by the fans every single evening. It’s supposed to help fans remember the feeling of a live show and raise anticipation for the next tour, that can hopefully start this autumn.”

Watch Doro Perform In An Empty Amphitheater As Part Of The “Corona Sessions”

Doro recently played a four-song set in an empty amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen, Germany as part of WDR Rockpalast’s “Corona Sessions.” She said the following about the performance:

“Such a great place. Last time I played there it was packed with more than 7000 people. It felt totally surreal to perform there without an audience. I hope so much for live shows to come back soon, and to be safe. Thanks a lot to Klaus Vanscheidt for joining me on guitar, to Thomas von der Heiden Musikfotografie for the nice pix, and of course to the great Rockpalast team and Amphitheater crew!”
