Grim Reaper, Firewind, Cyhra, Etc. Members Join Forces For Cover Of “We Are The World”

Marius Danielsen (Darkest Sins) has assembled a group of 50 musicians for a cover of “We Are The World,” a track that was originally recorded by Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, and more in 1984 for African famine relief. Another group of artists also recorded the track in 2010 for earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Danielsen’s version features: Anniken Rasmussen (Darkest Sins, Legend Of Valley Doom), Jake E (Cyhra, ex-Amaranthe), David Åkesson (Qantice), David Smith (Gypsy’s Kiss), Ty Christian (Lords Of The Trident), Peter Danielsen (Darkest Sins, Eunomia, Legend Of Valley Doom), Simon Byron (Sunset, Bluestouch), Ole Pedersen (Undertakers), Ferran Quiles (Theragon), Rick Altzi (Masterplan), Steve Grimmett (Grim Reaper), Marco Pastorino (Temperance), Herbie Langhans (Firewind, Avantasia) and tons more.

2020 M3 Rock Festival Rescheduled For September

The 2020 M3 Rock Festival has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event will now take place at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on September 4-6. Organizers commented:

“The 2020 M3 Rock Festival, originally scheduled for May 1-3, is being rescheduled to Labor Day Weekend, September 4-6, 2020 due to the coronavirus. All tickets will be honored on the new dates, of course. Unfortunately Ratt and Tyketto will no longer be able to perform, but we are thrilled to announce the addition of Winger to the lineup and more will be announced! We can’t wait to rock with you this September! Stay safe and see you at Merriweather soon. Keep your eyes peeled for additional info from Ticketmaster about these new dates.”

Doro Pesch Honored With “Angel Of Rock” Award At Hard Rock Hell Festival

Doro Pesch was recently honored with the “Angel Of Rock” award at the Hard Rock Hell festival in Great Yarmouth, UK. The frontwoman received the award after fans were asked to vote for the best female rock singer. She had a landslide victory as 77.8% of the participants voted for her.

Doro has premiered a new video for her song “Freunde Fürs Leben.” This track is from her latest album “Forever Warriors, Forever United.” Doro commented:
