Doro Pesch To Guest On Lita Ford’s New Album

During a recent interview with The Metal Voice, Doro Pesch revealed that she will be guesting on Lita Ford’s new album. She said the following:

“I just did something with Lita Ford, like, a year ago. I got this [‘Metal Hall Of Fame’] award… I could give her this award. I got it one year before. Actually, in Wacken [Germany at the Wacken Open Air festival], the American guys came over. They flew to Wacken and I got this beautiful award. Oh, it was so awesome. And then I could give it to Lita Ford one year later. And we said, ‘We’ve gotta do something [together].’ Because we know each other from the early ’80s. We did many photo sessions [together] and had many laughs. And we did actually something nice in the studio. And it will be on her record eventually. Yeah, we did something.”

It was always my dream to play the ‘Triumph And Agony’ album in its entirety live. The order of the tracks is different from the original album, but we’re playing all ten songs in new, powerful versions. The first time we did it was at Sweden Rock followed by a big tour in the USA and Spain, and more large festival shows like Graspop and Norway Rock. It was fantastic. There was a killer atmosphere!”

Doro Has Six Songs Written For Her Next Album

During a recent interview with Metal Shock Finland, Doro confirmed that she already has six tracks written for her next album. The effort is expected to be released in 2021.

Doro said the following:

“If I could do ten or twenty more records it would be awesome. I love people and that’s I guess what I’m here for and yeah, I just wanna make people feel great and get inspiration, motivation and positive metal power – that’s what I would love to continue doing. There’s not much, I don’t have any other dreams – I’m definitely living the dream, making music. I always wanted to become a singer since I was three years old.

But I love animals too, that’s my other passion and I just wrote a song for the new album and it’s called Heavenly Creatures, that’s a work title.

Yeah next year and hopefully a tour behind the new album, but we’ll see. But we already have six songs so I think middle of next year the album will be done.”

Doro Premieres “Brickwall” Video

Doro has premiered a new video for her new single “Brickwall.” The track is available in digital outlets now and it will also be available on vinyl on July 31.

Doro previously said the following:

“Since February, I’ve been back in the studio in the USA. There are some pretty awesome things happening in these writing sessions.”

“‘Brickwall’ is a harbinger for the upcoming album, that will be released in 2021. I want to give my fans a taste of what it’s going to be like — and the song also fits quite well with these dark times.

The lyrics are about unbreakable, unconditional love for a person in deep trouble. Even though it isn’t always easy to deal with that person, you still do everything to support them and get through the dark times side by side — even if you literally have to tear down walls.”

“The B-side will feature a great live version of ‘Soldier Of Metal’. The song was recorded during our recent ‘Forever Warriors’ tour in winter, where the song was celebrated by the fans every single evening. It’s supposed to help fans remember the feeling of a live show and raise anticipation for the next tour, that can hopefully start this autumn.”
