Tim Commerford (Rage Against The Machine, Etc.) Sued Over Car Crash

According to The Blast, Tim Commerford (Rage Against The Machine, Prophets Of Rage, etc.) is being sued by a man named Alec Chaice, who claims the bassist was driving alongside of him before switching lanes and crashing into his motorcycle on the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles on April 24. Chaice says the incident left him with over $65,000 in medical bills related to various procedures like a lumbar spinal surgery and a nerve root block procedure. He added that he was also left with a six-inch scar on his back. Chaice is seeking medical expenses, economic loss, damage to property, plus interest and costs. This is just the latest wave of bad luck to hit Commerford in recent times. The musician is also in the middle of a divorce with his wife and he even had to get a restraining order against her.

Prophets Of Rage Tease New Music In “The Ballot Or The Bullet” Video

With Election Day (November 6) coming up, Prophets Of Rage (Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill) have decided to share a new video called “The Ballot Or The Bullet.” The clip is named after Malcolm X’s famous 1964 speech and it features teasers of various songs from the group’s upcoming album. The band commented:

“There are people trying to keep many of us from being able to vote. Don’t squander the rights we’ve fought so hard to get. Agitate, Organize, resist and rebel before, during and after Election Day. In the words of Malcolm X, ‘It’s got to be the ballot or the bullet.'”

For #Halloween 🎃 I’m going as a scumbag named Scam Likely 🕺🏼 He was once fired by a laundry company that serviced women’s prisons bcz he got caught sniffing the dirty bedding 😐 At his local bar, he offers #freemustacherides to anyone who’ll listen. Only a few have said yes so far but the list includes his grandma’s bingo partner, an albino yoga instructor from Belarus 🧘🏻‍♂️ and a #CheetoShitler supporter (with blonde hair & spray tan) who demanded he call her Mr. Big Hands 🤔 Scam douses himself with a bottle of Sex Panther cologne hoping to hide his chronic halitosis that reeks of dirty ashtrays boiled with used diapers in a public restroom 🤢 He’s had four teeth removed, his jaw broken by a young law student for “inappropriate touching” 😑 His next project is to upload some “really slick shit” & maybe someone will say “that dude’s a fucking stud” & he’ll be awarded the Ambassadorship to Acapulco (we’ve tried telling him so just forget it) 🙄 And when he gets bored he begins his ritual of cringe that’s just too gross to print 😖 So remember the name #ScamLikely 🕺🏼 It’s gonna be dreadfully delightful 🎃 If you get offended that’s on you. Maybe look in the mirror to see if you’re a creep too 🤨 Otherwise just deal with it. It’s a comedic bit. From now till Halloween ☠️💋 #besafe & #bleesedbe 🙏🏽 🎃 #Boss 🧟‍♂️#Alpha 🙋🏼‍♂️ #King 👑 #OTEP 💀

Just paying homage to the show that fundamentally shaped me for better or worse. Met one of our old friends, MC Pee Pants aka @_mcchris having a trick or treater as a snack (I’m surprised Satan let you back up here). Didn’t see Willie Nelson though. Becoming Carl and shaving my beard was like the episode where he meets the successful family man version of himself and converts him back to his original slob self and gets him to shave his hair off. It felt good to release my inner slob though. #aquateenhungerforce #aquateenforever #mcpeepants #frylock #mastershake #dewey #vanessa #612warfavenue #nexttothegentlemensclub #halloween #newjersey @careymeans @eyeofthesnyder @_mcchris @adultswim @aquateenforever

Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine, Prophets Of Rage) Discusses Living With Type 1 Diabetes

Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine, Prophets Of Rage) recently shared an Instagram post in which he discusses living with Type 1 Diabetes. You can check out that post below. Wilk was diagnosed with the disease in 1997.

View this post on Instagram

I’ve been a Type 1 diabetic for almost 20 years now. Not gonna lie it’s a real shitty but manageable disease. It’s very different than Type 2 diabetes in that it has more to do with genetics and or environment. But fact is if you want good control (or to cure your type 2!), it all starts with Diet and exercise. Anyone living with this disease, know that you don’t have to let it control your life. You need to control the disease. I’ve been living my life and traveling around the world for 20 years with it. Don’t let this disease stop you from doing the things you wanna do. Unless you want to enter a pie eating contest. I’d say skip that 💩!!! 🤪✌️ Shout out to @jordanfperform for keepin me in line! #fuckyoutodiabetes #fucksugar
