Jane’s Addiction recently reunited to perform “I Would For You” and “Stop!” as part of the virtual Lollapalooza festival. The two-song set served as the band’s first public appearance in three years.

Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction) To Release Career-Spanning Solo Box Set “The Glitz; The Glamour”

Perry Farrell will be releasing a new career-spanning solo box set, titled “The Glitz; The Glamour,” on November 6. The set, which can be pre-ordered HERE, will focus on his works outside of Jane’s Addiction and Porno For Pyros.

The box set will include the following:

– Psi Com 5 Song EP – remastered and half speed cut on heavyweight vinyl

– Kind Heaven LP – remastered and half speed cut on heavyweight vinyl

Farrell told Kerrang! the following:

“The charge was actually led by my management, who went back and listened to the work I’d done and said: ‘You’ve never been fully realised, and we think it’s time that you put this work out in an organised manner.’ They went looking for everything that I’d done, including my first group Psi Com. Somebody actually found the masters for Psi Com in the trash and retrieved them. That’s how little I was paying attention, shall we say, in those days. Back then my attitude was: ‘What I’m about to witness is for my eyes and ears only, and that will make it really valuable.’ That sounds naïve, but in the long run it worked out that way. Psi Com wasn’t heard by a lot of people. We made the record for $500. It’s great to have it now, though, as a way to connect with my past.”

Watch Red Hot Chili Peppers Perform With Guitarist John Frusciante For First Time Since 2007

Yesterday (February 8), Red Hot Chili Peppers took the stage with guitarist John Frusciante for the first time in over 12 years. The set took place during a private memorial show that the Tony Hawk Foundation organized in honor of the late Andrew Burkle, son of billionaire Ron Burkle. It’s worth noting that Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins filled in for Chad Smith during the performance.

Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders were the musical guests on last night’s (January 7) episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!.” The band were joined by Hawkins’ Foo Fighters bandmate Dave Grohl on drums for “I Really Blew It,” which also featured Jane’s Addiction‘s Perry Farrell, and “Middle Child.”

Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders have premiered a new video for their song “I Really Blew It.” This track features Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction) and Hawkins’ Foo Fighters bandmate Dave Grohl and it appears on the band’s new album “Get The Money,” which was released today (November 8).

Ministry Share New Acoustic Version Of “(Everyday Is) Halloween” Feat. Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction)

Ministry have shared a video for their new acoustic version of “(Everyday Is) Halloween” featuring Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction). This track will be available as a bonus 7″ with the deluxe edition of the band’s new book, “Ministry: Prescripture,” which will be released on December 6. More details on that can be found HERE. In other news, frontman Al Jourgensen and author Aaron Tanner will also be signing copies of the book at Asrai Gardens West Loop in Chicago, IL on December 13.
