Lita Ford Putting Finishing Touches On “Dark And Riffy” Concept Album

During a recent interview with The Metal Voice, Lita Ford confirmed that she is currently finishing up a new “dark and riffy” concept album. She didn’t offer too many details, but did say that one of the songs, “Monsters,” focuses on cult leaders like Charles Manson and David Koresh:

“It’s just really dark and nasty stuff — brainwashing people and all the stuff [Koresh] did, and got all those people to drink Kool-Aid. But then again, it could be someone like your attorney, or it could be someone like your mom who is the monster in your life. It could be your manager. You never know who the monster in your life is gonna turn out to be.”

She also added the following about the effort:

“It’s got a cool feel. It’s all done and written and exciting. It’ll be out really soon — really soon. We just have to put pen to paper to a new record deal, and then we can tell [everybody more about it].”
