Exhumed commented:

“Despite the shuffling of lineups at the eleventh hour, we’re hella psyched to get out on the road and take you all To The Dead along with us. Furthermore, we’re very chuffed to welcome Escuela Grind to this tour. It’s gonna be a blast and we’re thankful for them for stepping up to make some noise with us on such short notice. And of course, we wish the Hulder crew a speedy recovery and all the best for their new album. See you casket-crushers, necromaniacs, and slaughtercultists out there on the road very fucken soon!”

Hulder added:

“Due to an unforeseen medical emergency within the live lineup, Hulder will not be able to join Exhumed, Vitriol, Molder and Castrator this Fall, and is to be replaced by Escuela Grind. This is not an announcement that is made lightly. We would like to extend gratitude to everyone involved in the logistics behind pushing forward with the tour as well as your continued support in the future.”

Exhumed Premiere New Song “Disgusted”

Exhumed have premiered a new song titled “Disgusted.” This track is from the band’s new album “To The Dead,“ which will be released on October 21. Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey commented:

“Our final single from ‘To The Dead‘ is a veritable labyrinth of riffs that mirrors the lyrical content, dragging the listener kicking and screaming on a descent into homicidal mania. If you make it through this track alive after it slices, dices, chops, and rips your senses, you deserve a beer before you dive back in for another listen! It’s an Exhumed track – you know what to do: crank up the volume, crack open a cold one, and shed some brain cells with us!”

Exhumed Premiere New Song “Carbonized”

Exhumed have premiered a new song titled “Carbonized.” This track is from the band’s new album “To The Dead,“ which will be released on October 21.

Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey commented:

“For me, the most exciting thing about ‘To the Dead‘ is that it’s the most collaborative record we’ve ever done. Our own six-string slime-slinger Sebastian Phillips disgorged the riffs for ‘Carbonized,’ the disgusting little ditty we’ve selected as the second single from the album.

Then Ross, Mike and I worked out the lyrics, so this ode to cerebral incineration is truly a group effort (which takes some of the blame away from yours truly if you guys hate it!). For the optimal carbonizing experience, turn out the lights, crank up the volume, spark a bowl, and this tune will vaporize what’s left of your senses and sanity!”

In other news, the band have also added some more dates to their upcoming tour. Here’s their updated schedule:

“To The Dead” Track Listing:

01. “Putrescine And Cadaverine”
02. “Drained Of Color”
03. “Carbonized”
04. “Rank And Defiled”
05. “Lurid, Shocking, And Vile”
06. “Undertaking The Overkilled”
07. “Nerotica”
08. “No Headstone Unturned”
09. “Defecated”
10. “Disgusted”

Matt Harvey commented:

“Like a lingering infection, we’ve returned to excruciate your eardrums and splatter your senses! The lads and I are very stoked to excrete our latest audio abortion onto the collective face of the underground. We’ve dialed up the ‘gross-o-meter’ to 666, so if gore-soaked blastbeats, disgusting vocals, and meat-cleaving riffs are your idea of a good time, you’re in for a fucken treat!

‘To The Dead‘ is a destination. A rotting world populated by the grotesquely twisted truths of our waking world and the decaying fallout of our most deranged ambitions. But it’s also a title that evokes a celebration of, and an invitation into, the gore-soaked world of Exhumed.

We’ve expanded the writing team on the record to include former members Mike Beams, Leon del Muerte, Matt Widener, and Bud Burke in an effort to celebrate the band’s history — at this point decades of it — and I think the resulting record is an excellent testament to the surprising longevity of Gore Fucking Metal!”

“After the recent Chuck [Schuldiner] tribute shows that Matt, Gus, and myself did, Rick posed the question, ‘Would anyone want to see some ‘Leprosy‘ shows?’ With a resounding ‘yes!’, the masses had spoken. Matt and Gus threw their hats in immediately and, in my opinion, they were the only real choice to bring this thing to life. Left To Die coming your way soon!!”

Rozz added:

“It’s going to be an absolute honor and pleasure to play these 34-plus-year-old songs on stage with Terry after all these years, along with the talents of Matt and Gus. It’s gonna be brutal!”
