Slipknot Recruit Anthrax, Behemoth, DevilDriver, Etc. For “Knotfest At Sea” Cruise

The initial lineup has been revealed for Slipknot’s “Knotfest At Sea” cruise. That event will take place aboard the Norwegian Jade, which will sail from Barcelona, Spain to Naples, Italy on August 10-14. The cruise will feature two headlining sets from Slipknot as well as performances from: Anthrax, Behemoth, DevilDriver, Sevendust, Skindred, Ho99o9, Higher Power, and Sleep Token. On top of that, the cruise will also include a live Q&A with members of Slipknot, a Sid DJ/MC set, a Corey Taylor solo set, a Slipknot Whiskey Tasting & Discussion with Clown (limited capacity), a signing with Mick Thomson (limited capacity), a drum workshop with Jay Weinberg, a bass clinic with VMan, and 20 years of Slipknot memorabilia showcased throughout the ship. The lineup has been revealed for the 2020 Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival. The event will take place on May 21-25 in Downtown Las Vegas and it will feature the following: Madness, Circle Jerks, Cock Sparrer, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Streetlight Manifesto, Lunachicks, The Adicts, Propaghandi, Avail, Stiff Little Fingers, Rose Tattoo, Ruts DC, G.B.H., Municipal Waste, Anti-Flag, The Lawrence Arms, The Bronx, Roy Ellis, Good Riddance, The Aggrolites, HO99O9, The Epoxies, Plague Vendor, Pears, The Flatlines, Bishops Green, Bad Cop / Bad Cop, Bridge City Sinner, The Bar Stool Preachers, Bad Waitress, Clowns, The Last Gang, Single Mothers, Decent Criminal, L.A. Saudade, the musical collective featuring mastermind Chuck Doom (Crosses, Team Sleep), along with Dr. Know (Bad Brains), Gil Sharone (ex-Marilyn Manson, etc.), and more, have premiered a new song titled “Sanctuary Dub.” This track features Ho99o9‘s theOGM and Yeti Bones and it will appear on the group’s upcoming 12″ EP “Shadows & Light / Sanctuary Dub.”

Melvins, Cattle Decapitation, Ho99o9, Etc. To Open For Mr. Bungle At Upcoming Reunion Shows

Mr. Bungle have revealed that Melvins, Cattle Decapitation, Ho99o9, and more will be joining them on select dates of their February reunion tour. As previously reported, the shows will find Trevor Dunn, Mike Patton, and Trey Spruance performing “The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny” in full with special guests Scott Ian (Anthrax, The Damned Things, etc.) and Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Cross).

“Putting these shows together it occurred to us that this was a great opportunity to expose unsuspecting audiences to some of the absolutely legendary thrash, death metal and hardcore bands that originally inspired us in the mid 80s.

And if we’re going to do that, why not re-unite with some of the equally legendary bands we were close with in the 90s? And why just concentrate on the past? Of the current bands that have taken some kind of inspiration from the heavier side of Mr. Bungle in doing their own thing, why not invite the select few that have managed to inspire us back?”

Ho99o9 Recruit Drummer Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan) For Upcoming Touring

Ho99o9 have recruited drummer Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Thoughtcrimes) for their upcoming touring. He will be taking over for Brandon Pertzborn, who recently joined Marilyn Manson’s band.

Ho99o9 said the following:

He’ll be taking in the new drummer position with Marilyn Manson on the Twins of Evil Tour alongside Rob Zombie. Our close friend @billyrymer from @dillingerescapeplan will be filling in for him this summer taking his place as we hit the road. First show w/ @ghostemane starts tonight in Tucson, AZ”

Rymer also commented:

“Some of you may know this but I’m happy to announce I’ll be filling in for my good friend @brandonpertzborn on these next two tours with @ho99o9 while he takes on duties with Marilyn Manson. Had a blast playing my first show last night with them at the Rialto Theater in Tuscan. Check out the dates. Hope to see some familiar faces this summer!”
