Ho99o9 Team Up With Blink-182’s Travis Barker For “Black Power Live” Set

Ho99o9 recently played a three-song set with Blink-182’s Travis Barker as part of the virtual “Black Power Live” festival. That event helped raise money for organizations that are supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Ho99o9’s performance featured their recently released songs, “Pray Or Prey” and “Christopher Dorner,” and a cover of Bad Brains‘ “Big Takeover.“

Ho99o9 Premiere New Songs “Christopher Dorner” & “Pray Or Prey”

Ho99o9 have released a new benefit EP. The effort comes with two tracks, “Christopher Dorner” and “Pray Or Prey,” and proceeds from it will go towards the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Campaign Zero, Advancement Project, and the National Black Disability Coalition. You can purchase the EP HERE.

School Of Rock Students To Perform On Slipknot’s “Knotfest At Sea” Cruise

School Of Rock are teaming up with Sixthman and Modern Drummer to give students a chance to perform during Slipknot’s “Knotfest At Sea” cruise. That event will take place aboard the Norwegian Jade, which will sail from Barcelona, Spain to Naples, Italy on August 10-14. The cruise will feature performances from: Slipknot, Anthrax, Behemoth, DevilDriver, Sevendust, Skindred, Ho99o9, Higher Power, and Sleep Token. School Of Rock students will perform multiple times during the cruise and Modern Drummer are also planning to offer them prizes and exclusive features both online and in print. The lineup has been revealed for the 2020 Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival. Saudade, the musical collective featuring mastermind Chuck Doom (Crosses, Team Sleep), along with Dr. Know (Bad Brains), Gil Sharone (ex-Marilyn Manson, etc.), and more, have premiered a new song titled “Sanctuary Dub.” This track features Ho99o9‘s theOGM and Yeti Bones and it will appear on the group’s upcoming 12″ EP “Shadows & Light / Sanctuary Dub.”

Mr. Bungle have revealed that Melvins, Cattle Decapitation, Ho99o9, and more will be joining them on select dates of their February reunion tour. As previously reported, the shows will find Trevor Dunn, Mike Patton, and Trey Spruance performing “The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny” in full with special guests Scott Ian (Anthrax, The Damned Things, etc.) and Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Cross).
