Asking Alexandria’s Danny Worsnop Joins Cast Of Upcoming Video Game “Of Bird And Cage”

Asking Alexandria’s Danny Worsnop has joined the cast of the upcoming video game “Of Bird And Cage.” The singer will voice a character named Ari, while his partner, Gitta, will be voiced by Kobra Paige (Kobra And The Lotus). The game is expected to be released next year with Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), Rob van der Loo (Epica), Ruud Jolie (Within Temptation), Mike LePond (Symphony X), and Rocky Gray (Living Sacrifice, ex-Evanescence) all set to be involved as well. Worsnop commented:

“We’ve had a lot of fun making this — it’s an entirely new approach, an entirely new concept, and a way to absorb the video game platform that I believe you guys are going to enjoy. There are a lot of incredible other musicians who’ve been involved in the casting, the creation, the scoring, and the performance within this video game and I would just want to say thank you to all of them who’ve been involved, and thank you to everyone who has created ‘Of Bird And Cage‘ for having me on board.”

Arch Enemy‘s Alissa White-Gluz, Trivium‘s Matt Heafy, Dark Tranquillity‘s Mikael Stanne, and Soilwork‘s Björn “Speed” Strid have contributed vocals to a new video game called “Metal: Hellsinger.” The rhythm shooter, which is being developed by The Outsiders, is expected to be released next year on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X, and PC.

Pearl Jam have premiered a new song titled “Quick Escape.” This track is from the band’s new album “Gigaton,” which will be released on March 27. Furthermore, the group have also launched a “Quick Escape” video game along with the song.

Amon Amarth To Launch “Berserker” Mobile Game

Amon Amarth will be releasing a new “Berserker” mobile game on February 21. In the game, you will play as Thor as he battles knights, archers, cavalry, and crucifix-wielding monks in medieval England, before taking on the evil King. The group commented:

Breaking Benjamin To Appear In “AdventureQuest 3D” & “AQWorlds”

Breaking Benjaming will be appearing in “AdventureQuest 3D” and “AQWorlds” as part of a two-week event in the “Battle Concert Arena.” A virtual version of the band will be playing an in-game concert as players battle monsters in “a new dimension.” The event will start on February 18 and developers are calling it their “darkest battle concert yet.” More details can be found HERE. Green Day Perform At 2019 “Game Awards”, Announce Beat Saber Expansion Pack

Green Day were among the artists that performed at the 2019 “Game Awards” last night (December 12). The group performed “Welcome To Paradise” in honor of the 25th anniversary of “Dookie,” as well as the title track of their new album “Father Of All Motherfuckers” (out February 7). In other news, the group also announced a six-song expansion pack for Beat Saber, which includes “Fire, Ready, Aim,” “Father of All Motherfuckers,” “American Idiot, “Holiday,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” and “Minority.” That DLC is available now.
