Nuclear Blast officially released their “Death…Is Just The Beginning MMXVIII” compilation today (October 19) and one of the highlights from the effort is Decapitated’s cover of Meshuggah‘s “Sane.” The track features Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, ex-Nevermore) and Jakub Zytecki (Disperse) and it can be heard below: [via The PRP]
Meshuggah’s self-titled release, “Contradictions Collapse,” “None,” “Destroy Erase Improve,” and “Chaosphere” are all set to be reissued on vinyl on November 30. Sabaton (20th anniversary show), Parkway Drive, Demons & Wizards, Powerwolf, Airbourne, Rose Tatoo, Within Temptation, Meshuggah, Krokus, Dark Funeral, and Avatar have all been booked for the 2019 Wacken Open Air festival. The event will take place on August 1-3 and over 50,000 tickets have already sold.
A mini-documentary that was shot during Meshuggah’s 2018 touring is now available to view below. The film was put together by Edvard Hansson.
