Jane’s Addiction have dropped off of this year’s Welcome To Rockville festival due to Dave Navarro suffering from a “long bout with COVID.” Porno For Pyros will be taking their place on the fourth day of the event. As previously reported, the festival will take place at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL on May 19-22.

Organizers commented:

Nine Inch Nails have been added to this year’s Welcome To Rockville and Boston Calling festivals. The band will be replacing Foo Fighters, who recently cancelled all of their live shows following the tragic death of Taylor Hawkins. Welcome To Rockville will take place at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL on May 19-22, while Boston Calling will take place at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA on May 27-29.

Stone Temple Pilots Cancel Upcoming Shows Due To Positive COVID-19 Case Within Their Camp

Stone Temple Pilots have cancelled two shows due to a positive COVID-19 case within their camp. The band issued the following statement:

“During routine Covid-19 testing of our band and crew, we have discovered that a member of our organization has tested positive for the virus. Out of an abundance of caution, we must regretfully cancel our remaining shows on this current tour; our appearances in Daytona, FL at the Welcome to Rockville Festival and Tulsa, OK at the Skyline Event Center. Refunds for the Tulsa show can be made at your point of purchase. Thank you to everyone that came out to see us this fall, it was wonderful to see all of your beautiful faces in person again. We hope to be able to do this again with you all very soon.”
