James Anthony Legion Announces His Exit From Motograter

Frontman James Anthony Legion has announced his exit from Motograter. Despite this, the band will continue and will soon be out on the road with Orgy.

Legion said the following:

“I have officially left Motograter. I put this announcement off for a couple of days now, but I figured it was best to go ahead and be up front about it. I am greatful for all the experience and opportunity this band has given me, but it’s time for me to move on. Motograter will continue on without me and I am NOT done with music by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, there will be another project announced shortly. Stay tuned.”

This news follows the departures of Jesse Stamper, Noah “Shark” Robertson and Mylon Guy. As The PRP pointed out, the group’s Wikipedia page seems to suggest the reports of a mass exit may be true, considering five out of seven members joined this year, including William Martinez, who is reportedly their new vocalist.

Terror Universal Drop Off Upcoming Dates With Motograter

Terror Universal will no longer be joining Motograter on their June dates. The band commented:

“We are sorry to inform everyone that for logistical reasons, being confirmed for Summer Slaughter 2018, we will not be able to do the 1 week worth of tour dates with our friends in Motogrator. We will see you all on the SUMMER SLAUGHTER TOUR, starting on July 13.”

Motograter Deny Reports Of Significant Lineup Change

NuMetal.net recently reported that everyone had exited Motograter except guitarist/vocalist Matt “Nuke” Nunes, but the band have now denied those claims. They said the following:

“Everything is fine, we just completed our headline tour. Something small got blown out of proportion in the media due to a disgruntled ex-member falsely reporting that we broke up and spreading the news to other websites. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We are the strongest we’ve ever been! We have festivals coming up and then the Terror Universal co-headlining tour coming up after that. We are ready to rock!”

The site originally made the report after apparently getting a hold of a text conversation from guitarist Jesse Stamper that said him and all the other members were out. It is unclear if he is the “disgruntled ex-member” or if its former drummer Noah “Shark” Robertson who has connections with the aforementioned site.

Motograter Premiere “Daggers” Music Video

Motograter have premiered a new video for their song “Daggers,” via Loudwire. This track is from the band’s latest album “Desolation.”

Matthew “Nuke” Nunes commented:

“Firstly we would have never been able to pull this off without the support of Mikey Doling at JaxxRock Ent and Angel Chavez at DW Drums. Shooting the ‘Daggers’ video was a great experience all around. We are very proud of what we were able to accomplish. The director Matt Lord Zane and crew – especially the amazing Laney Chantal (makeup/paint) – were nothing short of incredible to work with. We would be remiss to not give a huge shout out to Mike Tempesta at Jackson EVH for loaning us the awesome amps and heads. Motograter is truly excited to show the world something we feel is a true piece of art. See you on the road soon!”

He also added the following about the group’s upcoming dates:

“We are so excited to finally get back on the road! We have a deadly new lineup and are ready to crush the stage every night. C’mon on out and witness the beautiful mayhem we will ensue upon the metal masses!”
