As previously reported, Terror Universal have parted with vocalist, Chad “Rott” Armstrong, following sexual assault allegations issued against him by Otep. Now, the band have introduced their new singer, who is going by the name of Plague.
Terror Universal have parted ways with vocalist, Chad “Rott” Armstrong. The split is likely due to Otep’s recent sexual assault allegations against the singer. A replacement has already been found and will make their live debut at the Texas Independence Fest.
The band issued the following statement:
“FRIENDS AND FANS, THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS SUPPORTING TU. WE WANT TO INFORM YOU, THAT DUE TO PERSONAL DIFFERENCES, AND THE COURSE OF EVENTS THESE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, “CHAD ARMSTRONG” IS NO LONGER THE LEAD SINGER FOR TERROR UNIVERSAL.
WE WILL DEBUT TERROR UNIVERSAL‘S NEW SINGER THIS WEEKEND AT THE “TEXAS INDEPENDENCE FEST“. NEXT WEEK WE WILL POST LIVE VIDEO, SO YOU CAN ALL HEAR AND SEE OUR NEW KICKASS SINGER. WE PROMISE, OUR NEW FRONTMAN IS EVERYTHING YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM TU!!

Terror Universal vocalist, Chad “Rott” Armstrong has finally issued his own statement, defending himself against Otep’s sexual assault claims. Up until now, Armstrong’s wife, Jenny, has been the only representative for the band to comment on the situation, via Facebook. Check out Rott’s statement below:
Terror Universal, a new band featuring unspecified current and former members of Machine Head, Ill Niño and Soulfly have premiered a new song titled “Welcome To Hell.” The members all where masks and have stage names, to keep their identities secret. “Welcome To Hell” will be featured on their new EP, Reign Of Terror, which is expected to be released soon.
