Thieves Steal Like Moths To Flames’ Trailer

Unfortunately, Like Moths To Flames’ trailer was recently stolen. The band said the following about that on Twitter:

“Long story short.. Had our trailer stolen during this break at home. I’m not doing a gofund bc honestly I hate that type of dynamic, but I am going to drop some Moths stickers & decals into our shop for a weekend sale. Will have a link for you guys tonight when I get shit ready.”

“People fucking suck man. Trying to find the energy to get through the week so we can get back on the road. Love yinz.”

Like Moths To Flames Premiere New Song “Views From Halfway Down”

Like Moths To Flames have premiered a new song titled “Views From Halfway Down.” This track is from the band’s new EP “Pure Like Porcelain,” which will be released on November 5. Vocalist Chris Roetter commented:

“This song is the first time I’ve ever approached themes surrounding addiction. I think I tried to put myself in a place of morbid euphoria. Writing from a spot that felt like I was stuck between wanting to be better and wanting to remain in the state of mind of feeding whatever is driving the addiction. The view from halfway down is that time when you’re falling, where very little time passes but you see so much of your life passing by.”

Like Moths To Flames To Release New EP “Pure Like Porcelain” In November, Premiere New Song “The Preservation Of Hate”

Like Moths To Flames will be releasing a new EP, titled “Pure Like Porcelain,” on November 5. You can find the cover art and track listing for that effort below:

“Pure Like Porcelain” Track Listing:

01. “Ameliorate”
02. “Views From Halfway Down”
03. “The Preservation Of Hate”
04. “Gnashing Teeth”
05. “Do Not Resuscitate”

Guitarist Zach Pishney said the following about the EP:

“I think the EP is just a small taste of where we could possibly go next as a band. If ‘No Eternity‘ is considered a return-to-form album, then the EP is expanding those boundaries again. The coolest thing to me about the outcome of the EP is how extreme the shift in dynamic can be from song to song while still feeling like a cohesive listening experience as a whole.”

The effort’s first single, “The Preservation Of Hate,” can be found below. Vocalist Chris Roetter added the following about that track:

“I think we just wanted to have fun with this one. A lot of time, the focus for Moths is working cool chorus parts into the structure, so it’s a nice change of pace to have little singing on the track. It feels like a continuation of some of the more anger driven songs in catalogue and people who like the heavier side of the band will be pleased.”
