  • Crowbar’s Kirk Windstein: “We’re Anxious To Get To Work On Some New Music”

During an interview with Teaser Talk, Crowbar’s Kirk Windstein was asked about the band’s plans for new material. According to him, the group are “anxious to get to work on some new music.”

    Windstein said the following:

“We’re anxious to get to work on some new music, but things are going really well right now and [tour offers] keep popping up, offers that we’re, like, ‘Well, let’s just keep it rolling.’ I mean, it’s still building and building. We’re looking at Spotify. It’s up to, like 1.2 million monthly listeners, and Instagram, and especially the TikTok is growing. It’s almost a thousand more followers a day, close to it, like 700 to a thousand a day going on. So it’s crazy.

[We might] take a little bit of a break [from touring] next year to concentrate on recording and writing, because it’s been a while. And the touring, as you get older, gets a little tougher. But all in all, everything’s wonderful and great. So, I just appreciate all the fans. So, keep looking at your socials for the upcoming dates and tours. I think we’re gonna announce this Dying Fetus [tour] relatively soon, and we’re looking forward to it. It’s gonna be great. But this [spring 2026] tour [with Eyehategod], we start [March 19] in Baton Rouge. I think about 25 of the 30 shows are sold out. So pretty much they will all be sold out or very close to it. Maybe one or two small markets that are just kind of in the middle of nowhere. But other than that, we fully expect all of ’em to really be sold out, which is amazing. So, a huge shout-out to all the fans, Crowbar and Eyehategod fans, for buying the tickets and doing their job.”

  • Metallica Donate $125,000 To Assist With Relief Efforts Amid Flooding In Hawaii

Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation have donated $125,000 to assist with flood relief efforts in Hawaii. The money will go towards the Hawaiian Council, the Lāhui Foundation, and Hui O He’e Nalu.

    The band commented:

“Hawaii is facing the worst flooding it’s seen in more than two decades, leaving the islands suffering an estimated US$1B in damage statewide. The subtropical weather systems β€” called kona lows near Hawaii β€” siphoned moisture from the tropics, fueling slow-moving thunderstorms with torrential, destructive rains. The soil became saturated, and the rivers surged to record levels as the rains continued. So far, hundreds of homes in O’ahu have sustained damage, in addition to millions of dollars in damage to farms across the island. As many as 115,000 O’ahu residents faced power outages in the storm’s aftermath. While the heaviest rains have passed, flash floods remain possible in the coming days.

With strong ties to Hawaii, members of the AWMH Board reached out to identify ways to support the community, and we learned that a friend of the Foundation, Jason Momoa, was already there working with local organizations. AWMH is proud to join Jason and the many organizations and individuals working to provide critical relief and recovery assistance to the islands.

AWMH is granting US$50K to the Hawaiian Council (Formerly Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement),US$50K to the Lāhui Foundation, and US$25K to Hui O He’e Nalu.

If you’d like to contribute, the buttons [here] will direct you to the flood relief funds accepting donations. The Hawaiian Council is matching every dollar up to $325K donated to its Kāko’o O’ahu: Emergency Relief for O’ahu Flooding.”

  • Venom Inc. Planning New Mini-Album And Live Releases

During an appearance on Talking The Talk With Don, Venom Inc.’s Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan discussed the band’s upcoming plans. Among them are a new mini-album and a couple of live releases.

    Dolan said the following:

“Well, I’m trying to put out two live albums out [in the meantime]. At the minute we’re mixing the one [of them], which we did recordings from South America, from the tour we did with POSSESSED. So I’ve got recordings of every live show… And so we wanted to say a thank you ’cause we had such a spectacular time on that run. So we’re put a live album together specifically for them. Obviously we wanna do a new record, but in the meantime, it was suggested that we did a single. I thought, ‘Well, let’s do more than a single. Let’s do it like an EP or something.’ So we decided we’ll do four tracks, maybe five, [with] a bonus track on there, a hidden bonus track. And that will be like a mini album. And that will have two new songs, two re-recordings and a surprise song. And in the meantime, when we were in SΓ£o Paulo [Brazil], we were invited to [the Brazilian radio station] Kiss FM, where they do a live-in-the-studio session. So they do an interview, you play as many songs as you wanna play, and then they do an interview and they intercut that and it goes up on YouTube and it’s played on Kiss FM throughout Brazil. So we did five songs for the show. My voice was fucked, my voice had been really fucked, ’cause I’d been a bit too excited and talking too much… But anyway, we did the session and I thought, ‘Oh, yeah. It was okay. Let’s have a listen back.’ So they put it up, and I was, like, ‘Holy fuck. Is that what we sound like?’ It sounded amazing. So I’ve done a deal where it’ll go up on to YouTube, but we’re getting the audio posted. And there’s five songs. We’re gonna put that on as a special release. So there’ll be the live album, then there’ll be the mini album, then there’ll be this Kiss FM live session, and then the new album.

So, yeah, I’m just trying to keep it as exciting as possible and to put music out. The whole point is I want to the two live things β€” the session and the live album β€” to capture what we are, the essence of what we are live. And, of course, there’s an opportunity with the two new songs on the mini album and then the album full to be us, ’cause we’ve been together for now two years, played a gazillion shows and we’re ready to record the three of us as a band. So it’s very exciting. It’s very exciting. I mean, to have this amount of interest in the band from the industry, but also from inside, from the guys inside, is wonderful. It’s wonderful.”

  • Pete Hegseth Says He Already Lifted Suspension On Those Who Flew Military Choppers Near Kid Rock’s House, Donald Trump Comments On The Situation

As previously reported, the U.S. Army recently suspended several aircrew members after they decided to fly two military attack helicopters over to Kid Rock’s “Southern White House” mansion in Nashville, TN. However, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth claims he already lifted their suspensions.

    Hegseth said the following:

“Thank you Kid Rock. U.S. Army pilots suspension LIFTED. No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots.”

Rock’s friend, U.S. President Donald Trump, also commented on the situation:

β€œI’m sure they had a good time. Well, they probably shouldn’t have been doing it, yes. You’re not supposed to be playing games, right?. They like Kid Rock. I like Kid Rock. Maybe they were trying to defend him. I don’t know.”

Notably, Rock predicted the service members would not face repercussions. He told WKRN the following:

β€œThey circled back around and came out right over here, and I just gave them a salute, kind of a thank you, and man, it was a level of respect that I got that no award or record sales could do.

It was pretty cool they stopped right there. I wasn’t expecting any of that, but I thought it was really neat.

I was there last Thanksgiving with JD Vance, and I’ve talked to some of these pilots, and I told them, β€˜You guys see me waving when you come by the house, you guys are always welcome to cruise by my house like any time.

I think they’re going to be alright β€” my buddy is the commander in chief.”

Thank you @KidRock.@USArmy pilots suspension LIFTED.

    No punishment. No investigation.

    Carry on, patriots. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ https://t.co/Zqhv1Zx1iG
