Listen To “99 Bottles” Benefit Single Featuring Pantera, Trivium, Mastodon, Etc. Members

Scour‘s Derek Engemann and John Jarvis recently recruited 99 musicians, including members of Pantera, Trivium, Mastodon, Arch Enemy, Exodus, Testament, Butcher Babies, etc., to guest on a special “99 Bottles“ benefit single. That track has since been released and can be streamed below. Proceeds from it will be donated to Old Dog Haven in an effort to help out senior dogs. You can still contribute to the campaign via GoFundMe.

Jarvis commented:

“In conjunction with our friends at Old Dog Haven and The World Famous BOOZEHOUNDZ (Derek & I’s satirical overly drunk punk band) we present the “99 Bottles” out on International Dog Day!!!”

Engemann added:

“This has been an epically fun project involving the entire Metal scene, and even a few Ska bands! This project originally began back in 2013, but was brought back to life once we discovered Old Dog Haven. The “99 Bottles” has truly shown the good side of humanity during these wild times that we are in. I was amazed at all of the people who were eager to sign up for a verse. Winston, Clementine, Tasha, and The Boozehoundz thank everyone involved, and thank you to everyone who takes the time to give this insane track a spin!”

Venom Inc. Begin Recording New Album

Venom Inc. have officially started the recording process for their new album. Guitarist Jeff “Mantas” Dunn will be handling the production duties for the record.

Tony “The Demolition Man” Dolan said the following:

“I am a firm believer that you try to better yourself in life, not by comparison to anyone else but to yourself.. Making a new album, proudly under a label like Nuclear Blast, gives me that opportunity again.. If ‘Avé’ was a great album, then this new one needs to be even greater… if the performances on ‘AVÉ’ were the best we could be then, it will follow that we will outdo ourselves and be better than we were… We don’t care how good or bad ANYONE else is… we are here to challenge ourselves. With the 3 of us in total synchronisation and firing every cylinder we each have, expect something, intense, powerful, dark, spitting, visceral, foreboding, and no holds barred… HEAVY AS A FUCKING WORLD MADE FROM LEAD! Feel the Fire, Hear us Roar… for WE ARE VENOM INC!”

Jeff “Mantas” Dunn added:

“I have always maintained that I am a man of few words, I let the music do the talking and this motherfucker is speaking volumes and has not stopped to draw breath. Furious, aggressive, relentless, vicious, culled from experience and hatred and with the personnel to deliver it, this makes no excuses for what it is . . HEAVY FUCKING METAL!”

Jeramie “The WarMachine” Kling continued:

“For the new VENOM INC album I have tried a new technique. I have started by completely dismantling my drums and replacing the usual drum kit with rockets bought in hell…. and the rest of the kit you ask ?!? Well, that’s been replaced by flame throwers, gun powder and a tank gun!!! And I’m driving it all like a fucking WARMACHINE straight at you! Nothing is safe and nothing will survive!!”

Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan (Venom Inc.) Undergoes Hip Surgery

Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan (Venom Inc.) has revealed that he recently underwent hip surgery at a hospital in London on August 15. He told Lords Of Metal following:

“The pain is not so bad. I just feel happy that it is done at last. I’ve had an accident as a 12-year-old kid, when I was hit by a car and landed flat, after the car had thrown me 20 feet straight up in the air. The last ten years, I’ve been attempting to get help, and the last three years in Venom Inc., there was always a reason why it couldn’t happen, mostly due to rescheduling at the hospital. It came to the point I could wait no longer; I could barely walk after Wacken. So I am very happy it is finally done and I can look forward.”
