Hate Premiere “Exiles Of Pantheon” Music Video

Hate have premiered a new video for their song “Exiles Of Pantheon.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Rugia.” Adam “ATF Sinner” Buszko commented:

“We’re extremely proud to present this picture for one of the most brutal and vicious tracks on ‘Rugia‘. The song is about an old faith being reborn through an unholy, blood-soaked ritual. There are references to archaic beliefs on the island of Rugia – the last bastion of western Slavic paganism. Making this video was one hell of a challenge, because we were shooting throughout the night in extreme weather conditions. In the end, I think we got a picture that fits perfectly with the music. Watching it, you can almost feel freezing cold rain slashing at your face. It’s no doubt our best video thus far.”

Hate have announced that their new album “Rugia” will be released on October 15. The effort will be the band’s first to feature new drummer Nar-Sil (Neolith, Virgin Snatch, Embrional). He will be taking over for Pavulon, who stepped away from the group due to health issues. You can stream the album’s title track below:

“Rugia” Track Listing:

01. “Rugia”
02. “The Wolf Queen”
03. “Exiles Of Pantheon”
04. “Saturnus”
05. “Awakening The Gods Within”
06. “Resurgence”
07. “Velesian Guard”
08. “Sun Of Extinction”
09. “Sacred Dnieper”

Vocalist ATF Sinner said the following about the record:

“It was clear to me that it should build upon and evolve from our previous record, ‘Auric Gates Of Veles‘, both musically and lyrically. However, every Hate record stands as a separate journey, and never twice to the same place. You never know exactly where it will lead you.”

He also added:

“…The fire is still burning! I’m proud that I have built a band with such strong energy, that’s lasted for a long time in spite of numerous line-up changes and obstacles in our way. We are still here and we create with ever growing consciousness and dedication. The energy speaks through us. Honestly, I think of the band as something much bigger and more profound than the individual people involved in it over any given period of time. I believe we create a channel for energies that surpass us.”

Belphegor haven’t been taking the criticism well either and are now facing controversy after reportedly using a homophobic slur while responding to an angry fan.

Plush Premiere “Hate” Video

Plush have premiered a new video for their debut single “Hate.” You can check that out below:

Singer/guitarist Moriah Formica said the following about the song:

“It’s about somebody who broke my heart in a very bad way. I was just so angry and sad, but I couldn’t bring myself to actually say ‘I hated you’ to that person, because the truth is I really, really loved that person, and I just hated that I loved them.”

She also added the following about the video:

“It was amazing as a newly formed band to play in a historic theater, especially during a pandemic where we haven’t had the opportunity to play a live show yet. We also had the chance to really bond as a band, spending the whole day together.”

Hate Announce New Drummer Daniel “Nar-Sil” Rutkowski

Hate have parted ways with drummer Paweł “Pavulon” Jaroszewicz. Daniel “Nar-Sil” Rutkowski will be taking his place. You can see footage of him in action below:

Pavulon said the following:

“The last 2 years were pretty difficult for me because of a relentless work schedule in all the bands and projects I worked with, resulting in constant exhaustion and eventually health problems, mainly with my wrists from all the abuse and imperfect technique. Late last year, I started rebuilding my playing from scratch and also paying more attention to my health and work ethics. I chose to take a break from my usual work routine and use the time to get back on track in the future with a brand new approach. With this in mind, I decided it would interfere with Hate’s activity, and the last thing I want are my personal issues to affect others’ hard work. Therefore, I decided to let go and allow my good friend Daniel to step in and carry on the legacy. He’s an amazing young drummer, and I’m sure you’ll be amazed by what he will bring to the band’s sound and performance. I would like to thank Hate for all the years we shared for better and worse. It was definitely an important part of my life, and I will always be thankful for this journey.”

Hate added:

“We would like to wish Pavulon all the best in his projects to come and thank him for his contributions to the band. With that said, we welcome the talented Daniel ‘Nar-Sil’ Rutkowski to the band. Nar-Sil has already sat behind the drums for Hate during the Europe Under Black Death Metal Tour Vol II and worked with many big names in the Polish metal scene such as Virgin Snatch, Neolith, Embrional, and Dira Mortis.”

Nar-Sil also commented:

“I’m super excited about joining Hate and the new material we are hard at work on! Things have been moving quickly, but the flow is excellent, and in time, I’m sure the fruit of our labour will be powerful and monstrous Extreme Metal. I’m looking forward to showcasing what we’ve been working on, and of course, seeing you all on the road!”
