Guitarists Joe Satriani and Steve Vai have shared a new video for “Dancing” from their SatchVai project. You can check out that clip below. The track is a reimagined version of a song by Paolo Conte.
Satriani commented:
“‘Dancing’ really captures the playful side of what Steve, and I discovered on stage together last summer — that push-and-pull of melody and energy. The video gave us a chance to show that spirit in a completely different way. Watching ZZ [Satriani] bring this absurd casting concept to life — and having Brendon [Small] step into the madness — made it even more fun.”
Vai added:
“This band thrives on surprise — musically and visually. ‘Dancing’ is a perfect example of that. It’s melodic but relentless, and the video turns that energy into a kind of surreal comedy. It’s a glimpse into the personality of this band before we even hit the stage.”
Sex Pistols and Frank Carter have announced the rescheduled dates for their North American tour. You can find those below. The initial trek was scrapped after guitarist Steve Jones broke his wrist.

Fear Factory’s Dino Cazares recently shot down the possibility of reuniting with former members of the band. He says “that chapter is permanently closed.”
Cazares said the following:
“I don’t hold any hatred toward any former members, but to be clear, I will not be working with them again, I’m sure the feeling is mutual. What’s done is done, and that chapter is permanently closed. I’ve moved forward and remain focused on the present and the future.
I sincerely hope they have done the same.”
He also added:
“The only reason I continue addressing this is because fans keep asking. I’ve already moved on and have said that many times. Unfortunately, some people get upset if I don’t answer the question and others get upset when I give an honest answer they don’t want to hear”
During a recent interview with Guitar World, guitarist Jason Richardson discussed his departure from All That Remains. According to him, the decision was related to “a business thing.”
Richardson said the following when asked if his decision was a “difficult” one:
“Kind of, but not, simultaneously. I don’t wanna get into the weeds of it publicly, but I’m still cool with all of the guys in the band. It was mostly just a business thing. And things just were not executed like they were promised to be, from management and the people tasked with putting the [tenth ALL THAT REMAINS] record [2025’s ‘Antifragile’] out. I’m glad the record exists, but the fact that it’s already been out almost a year and there hasn’t been one show. So it’s, like, there’s just a lot of things on the business side in the back end that I was not happy with at all. It has nothing to do with anyone’s personality or anyone in the band at all. It just wasn’t, in my opinion — like, I could be doing other things than trying to make that work when it so clearly was not going to — from my perspective, at least.
I still love the guys. I love the record. I loved working with [producer] Josh Wilbur, the guy who did the album. He’s phenomenal. And that’s probably one of the best things about that record, for me at least, is now I have a great relationship with him, and we’re gonna keep working together. But I am happy all those songs are real, so there’s that at least.”

During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Dave Mustaine reflected on launching Megadeth following his departure from Metallica. According to him, his former band and more were “holding him back” at the time and “it very much was [him] against the world.”
Mustaine said the following:
“Think of it. Where would I be right now if I didn’t have one of the biggest bands in the world spending their time trying to hold me back? They don’t do it anymore, but most of the time when they did, it just made me shake my head. And it wasn’t just Metallica, it was everybody. For a long time, it very much was me against the world. It was like, OK, if you’re not with me, you’re against me.”
He also discussed his cover of “Ride The Lightning”:
“There may not be a chance to ever say hello to James or Lars again. I knew some people would have a hard time with me doing the song, but that’s OK because I wanted to pay tribute and show my respect. If they like it, fine. If they don’t like it, fine. If they listen to it, fine. If they don’t, fine.”
He added:
“You know, I had a great time when I was in Metallica, and we did something tremendous. It’s a shame what the booze did, but we were all kids and, aside from Lars, we came from pretty broken families. Lots of stuff has happened over the years, but I felt like it would be great to make everything good with them before we stop. We should be friends. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be friends.”
