Soen Premiere “Illusion” Music Video, Postpone European/UK Tour

Soen have premiered a new video for their new song “Illusion.” This track is from the band’s new album “Imperial,” which will be released on January 29.

Drummer Martin Lopez (ex-Opeth) commented:

“‘Illusion‘ is a song about the shared responsibility amongst us if we wish to improve the world, change has to be made by us, you and me…the people. It’s about the frustration of feeling powerless but also the hope in realizing that things can be changed for the better. If we stop criticizing each other and making enemies of ourselves by blindly following the ideas of politicians and their media.”

“As most of you might have guessed, we regretfully have to announce that our January tour can not go forward as planned due to the current pandemic.

However, it is with great pleasure that we can announce that we will be going out with the same package in June, and we have added a bunch of extra dates to the run!

All tickets for January will remain valid for June, all new shows will be on sale by Monday.

We can’t wait for this, and we are hopeful that by June some sort of normalcy will have returned that will allow shows to go forward in Europe. Vaccinations are to begin in Germany on January 5th, hopefully similar in most other European countries. We are fully aware however that this will finally depend on a number of things falling into place, and if we should have to postpone again, then we will.

Can’t wait to see you all out there next year!”
