Weedeater Postpone Immediate Live Dates Due To Positive COVID-19 Cases, Announce July Tour

Weedeater have postponed their immediate live dates due to positive COVID-19 cases within their camp. The shows will be rescheduled.

The band commented:

“Hey everybody, sorry to say that there have been at least two confirmed cases of Covid in the WEEDEATER touring party, and because of the quarantine periods and the near certainty that more people in the group either are infected or will get infected in the meantime, and the associated quarantine times for all, we simply have no choice but to postpone the remaining shows on this tour. This is a massive disappointment as this tour was really incredible and all the bands were on point. Thanks to all of you who came out to the shows that we were able to play. Circle Jerks Postpone Immediate Live Shows After Singer Keith Morris Tests Positive For COVID-19

Circle Jerks have postponed their immediate live shows due to singer Keith Morris testing positive for COVID-19. The band will return to the stage on April 26 in Austin, TX.

The band issued the following statement:

“💔 We had hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but our fearless singer, our dude, Keith Morris, is headed home to rest for 10 days as he recovers from COVID-19. This will not stop Keith! You have no idea how ecstatic we are to be on tour for the first time in 15 years. Seeing your excitement every night has made it all worth it. Thank you! We plan to announce all rescheduled shows in the next week or two. And we will start the tour again on Tuesday, April 26th in Austin for two nights at the Mohawk. Get ready, Texas!

This postponement is the reality of touring in 2022, but it does not take away how financially crippling it is for everyone involved – especially our good friends and supporting bands, @official7seconds & Negative Approach (@realjohnbrannon). We are selling silk screened posters signed by Keith Morris, John Brannon, & Kevin Seconds in our online shop. All profits from this and the North American Flyer T-Shirt will be split equally between the three bands. If you want to support this tour, this is the best way to do it. Link in bio.

We will continue to provide updates on Keith and all things Circle Jerks on our socials. We wish Keith a speedy recovery and cannot wait to see you all soon ❤️”

Greta Van Fleet Postpone More Shows As Guitarist Jake Kiszka Continues To Recover From Pneumonia

Greta Van Fleet have postponed their remaining shows between March 22 and April 2. This news comes after guitarist Jake Kiszka was recently hospitalized with pneumonia.

The band commented:

“We are disheartened to announce that the shows from March 22nd through April 2nd must be rescheduled for the health and safety of our brother, Jake.

We recognize how upsetting this news is and share your disappointment. While Jake has been discharged after being hospitalized for four days, he is still struggling with pneumonia and its symptoms. The healing process is long and slower than anticipated. Jake wanted to push through, however doctors have advised doing so could potentially lead to further complications and a longer recovery.

We are actively working on rescheduling and will share information about the new dates as quickly as possible. We are determined to play these shows.

To our fans in Madison, WI – unfortunately, the March 22nd performance must be canceled due to planned venue renovations later this year. However, we love you and your city, and will find a way to make it up to you. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

To the fans, friends, and family that planned to travel great lengths to be with us – your unwavering support has not gone unnoticed. We appreciate your dedication, understanding, grace, and sympathy.

This is only the beginning of the tour and it is important for Jake to heal so the rest of ‘Dreams In Gold’ 2022 can continue as planned through the rest of the year, starting in South America.

Love and light, Jake, Josh, Sam, & Danny”

But we take this step in support of our community and in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, for whom the struggle continues, in a new and more terrible form. We also acknowledge that our Russian and Belarusian fans are overwhelmingly united with the Ukrainians in their fight for peace.
