Ghost have released chapter 25 of their ongoing web series. The latest clip is titled “The Portrait” and it finds Frater Imperator (formerly Papa Emeritus IV) receiving a new painting and office before heading out for a vacation. However, it seemingly ends with him getting hit by a truck. You can check that out below. This news comes as frontman Tobias Forge is preparing to put the band on break.
More bands have been added to the Orlando, Florida stop of this year’s Vans Warped Tour. As previously reported, that event will take place at the Camping World Stadium Campus on November 14-15.

BIG ASS TRUCK I.E. have premiered a new video for their new song “Pushed Beyond The Brink.” You can check that out below. The band commented:
“We’re super stoked for this track! This idea had been in the tank for a while and we were all very excited to finally bring it to fruition. The KILLDOZER is a legendary vehicle/event and I’d like to think we did it justice in showing how maniacal that whole situation was/is. We’re hoping this track can resonate with anyone else who feels life is just punching down on you everyday.”
Corrosion Of Conformity have officially recruited Nick Shabatura as their new drummer. The musician will serve as a replacement for Stanton Moore, who was previously filling the void left by the late Reed Mullin.
Godsmack have announced a new live film/album titled “Live At Mohegan Sun.” The group recorded the effort during their October 26, 2024 show at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut and it will be available on May 1 as a Blu-ray/CD set and a 2LP vinyl set. Notably, that concert was the band’s final show with guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. Footage of “When Legends Rise” from the performance can be found below:

Frontman Sully Erna commented:
“In February of 1995 something incredible happened to me that changed my life forever. It was the birth of Godsmack. Thirty years later, on October 26, 2024, another major pivotal moment in my life happened and will once again change my life forever.
Fans, Friends and Family around the world, I could not be more proud or excited to share with all of you the most incredible, piece of work this band has ever been able to capture on film.
This new live concert that we are releasing on Blu-ray, CD and Vinyl is everything you could ever ask for as a fan of our music, our journey through our career, and our individual personalities.
Words are simply not enough to translate to you how epic and important this show is. It’s exciting, it’s powerful, and it’s incredibly emotional being the last time you will ever see all 4 original members doing what we do best onstage together, in a sold out venue at Mohegan Sun Arena. So soak it all in, even the bonus features. I even encourage you to watch the bonus features first. It’s hard for me to not tear up every time I have watched this.
So don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of rock n roll history. Because since the honorable departure of Shannon and Tony, this really is the final curtain call for the Godsmack you have known and loved, for over 30 years.
Thank you ALL for your loyalty, love, and support. Without you, this incredibly special concert could not have been captured. And all though this may end a very important chapter in our lives, fret not, as a new one opens, because the best is still yet to come!
With Love & Respect,
Sully Erna, Tony Rombola, Shannon Larkin and Robbie Merrill”

We’ve spent time on the road, we’ve developed a chemistry, and you can hear that evolution in the performances. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and I’m excited to begin this next chapter with Exciter Records.”
Exciter Records founder Michael Closter added:
“Richie Faulkner is not only one of the most respected guitarists as a member of Judas Priest, but he is also a leader in forming and developing Elegant Weapons. Signing Elegant Weapons is a natural step for Exciter Records as we continue to honor metal’s heritage while investing in its future.”
The Pretty Reckless have premiered a new song titled “When I Wake Up.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Dear God,” which will be released on June 26. Singer Taylor Momsen commented:
“‘When I Wake Up’ is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare. When a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time…”

Tigercub have premiered a new video for their new song “A Black Moon.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Nets To Catch The Wind,” which will be released on April 10. The group commented:
“It’s detuned & brooding, and cinematic. One of the most Lynchian dream-like songs on the entire record. In ‘A Black Moon’ I retrace my steps through a dream journal, In retrospect, I try to decode & uncover the mangled fragments of repression and buried emotions.”
Drop Dead, Gorgeous have released a new song titled “GHOSTS.” You can check that out below. Vocalist Daniel “Stills” Stillman commented:
“‘GHOSTS’ captures the feeling of drowning in chaos while daring us to face the flames instead of looking away. It’s dark, visceral, and impossible to ignore.”
Bilmuri, aka Johnny Franck (ex-Attack Attack!), has premiered a new video for his new song “ALWAYS LET YOU DOWN.” The track, which features A Day To Remember, is from Bilmuri’s new album, “KINDA HARD,” which will be released on April 10.
Franck commented:
“My manager, Jameson, and I like to go to the gym, get a little pump beforehand. I’m looking across the vast sea of weights, and I see Jeremy [McKinnon] from A Day To Remember. I’ve never met him before, but I we kind of both lock eyes. I get up from doing a set, and he’s walking towards me, and I’m just pumped because I’m happy to meet him — I’ve never met him, but we’ve known about each other for such a long time.
We chat and get to know each other and ask about tour plans and all that stuff, and then he leans into me and he’s like, ‘If you ever need any help writing, let me know’… I was like, ‘Dude, we’re writing in 30 minutes if you’d like to come by!’”
He went on to say that the session also resulted in another new track called “BACK, THEN.” Notably, Noah Sebastian (Bad Omens) and Cody Quistad (Wage War) were involved as well:
“Noah rolls through, and it’s just, like, 20 years of metalcore sitting in a room. So, I kind of look around at all the boys, and I was like, ‘Are we cooking another song?’ It’s one of my favorite songs on the record. nd if I never went to the gym that day, this song never would have happened.”
