“‘Crawl Back To My Coffin’ is a metaphor for love that hurts you when you’re guarded and causes your walls to go up even further. The excitement in meeting someone new when you’re ‘dead’ and feeling like they bring you back to life only to feel pain and wish you had never left your grave at the end of it.”

  • Rise Of The Northstar Premiere “Falcon” Video

Rise Of The Northstar have premiered a new video for their new song “Falcon.” This track is from the band’s new album, “CHAPTER 04: RED FALCON SUPER BATTLE! NEO PARIS WAR!!,” which will be released on November 14. Vocalist Vitia said the following about the single:

“Here is the track that guided all my artistic direction for ROTN’s new era, the one where it all begins, and the one that closes our promotional campaign for this fourth album. I wrote it like a prayer, inspired by the airy notes of Eva-B’s chorus. At first, the guys weren’t really feeling the title, but after working on it over time, they eventually accepted it. In the end, it became clear to all of us that it had to be the one to represent the album. It’s a unique song for us, and it carries a message of hope. I dedicate it to all our loved ones who left too soon, but also to those still here, standing strong. May it bring strength to those who need it, and guide those who are searching!”

  • Pincer+ Premiere “Blue Light Overdose” Music Video

Pincer+ have premiered a new video for their new song “Blue Light Overdose.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Who Are You When No One’s Around,” which will be released on December 12.

The group commented on the single:

“[‘Blue Light Overdose‘ was] written from a place of hate and utter disdain for those who continue to take, while providing no real benefit to anyone. It’s definitely one of the more aggressive and to-the-point songs on the album, and the closest in sound to our older material.”

They also added the following about the album:

“It’s about losing control, pulling yourself apart, and trying to figure out who you are. We found the title felt like a way to tie it all together – it’s a question for us as much as anyone else, about facing the parts of yourself that only show up when no one’s watching.”

“Who Are You When No One’s Around” Track Listing:

    01. “Hard 2 Kill“
    02. “Cold Frame“

  • Buckcherry’s Josh Todd Guests On New Kurt Deimer Song “In Deep”

Buckcherry frontman Josh Todd is featured on a new Kurt Deimer song titled “In Deep.” You can find a video for that track below. Notably, the clip includes footage from Deimer’s upcoming movie “Scared To Death.”

    Deimer commented:

“I recently was very lucky to tour with Buckcherry and Josh and the band were really great. Towards the end of this most recent tour, I had been speaking with Josh and he was gracious enough to agree to collaborate on a song together. I had this song I thought he would be perfect on, originally called ‘He Was Good To Me,’ and it was about women unfortunately falling prey to men with bad intentions. He listened to it but wanted to re-do the lyrics. The song now is about how you can get in to a relationship and you are in it too deep. You gotta watch out for those situations. It’s really about thinking before you act and get too involved.

During the creative process when Josh and I got together at Chris Lord-Alge’s studio and I saw Josh in the vocal booth being Josh Todd like he is on stage with Buckcherry and how in to it he was I just knew this had to be my next single. It’s a blessing for me to be able to share my art and Josh was more than gracious to help and be a part of this killer tune ‘In Deep.’ I hope you all enjoy it.”

  • Ov Sulfur Premiere “Wither” Video

Ov Sulfur have premiered a new video for their new song “Wither.” This track is from the band’s new album “Endless,” which will be released on January 16.

    Chase Wilson commented:

“We know ‘Wither’ is different and that it’s not the norm for bands like us to do a song like this, but we felt we had to honor our families and in doing so created something very special to us in the process.

I had a lot I wanted to say about my grandparents’ passing, as I was very close to them and had a multitude of different emotions I needed to express. Ricky allowed me the honor of splitting singing duties on this song with him, as we joined each other in grief and mourning.

My grandfather worked as an MC back in the days of Sinatra, The Rat Pack and artists like that. It was always his dream to make it in show business and be on a record some day. It’s bittersweet we were able to make it happen for him after his passing (he’s the voice clip at the end of the song). I wish he was around to hear it.”

    Ricky Hoover added:

“My grandmother was the glue that held my family together. She was the strongest person I’ve ever known and had the ability to forgive those who wronged her, a quality I wish I had. She was truly the best example of what being a good person is.

She watched my siblings and I almost every day while my parents were at work, so we were always incredibly close. I used to call her on my way home from work, fill her in on things and just talk. Now I still find myself calling everyone I know on the drive because of how much I miss the talks we had.

After she died I had so many nights spent awake alone wishing I could share in the belief I’d see her or hear her voice again: hours desperately trying to give myself the false hope I would. Eventually, I reached the cold realization that I never would. Some nights I still find myself lost and trying to lose myself in that hope…or delusion.

The voicemails (of her wishing me a Merry Christmas or that she hopes I have a good show) were something I couldn’t even force myself to listen to until the day I recorded this song. I sent all the ones I had into the studio prior to me going. These were the ones chosen. She always said she wished I sang more in my music, so that’s what I did. I wish she was around to hear it.”
