Jarvis commented:

“In conjunction with our friends at Old Dog Haven and The World Famous BOOZEHOUNDZ (Derek & I’s satirical overly drunk punk band) we present the “99 Bottles” out on International Dog Day!!!”

Engemann added:

“This has been an epically fun project involving the entire Metal scene, and even a few Ska bands! This project originally began back in 2013, but was brought back to life once we discovered Old Dog Haven. The “99 Bottles” has truly shown the good side of humanity during these wild times that we are in. I was amazed at all of the people who were eager to sign up for a verse. Winston, Clementine, Tasha, and The Boozehoundz thank everyone involved, and thank you to everyone who takes the time to give this insane track a spin!”

Eyehategod Cancel Last Three Shows On European Tour

Eyehategod have cancelled the last three dates on their European tour due to travel restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic. Mike IX Williams commented:

“It is with much regret that EYEHATEGOD has had to cancel the last three shows of our recent tour; Kiev, St. Petersburg & Moscow. We have no apology big enough & we are very sorry to our Ukrainian and Russian fans, but the possibility of being kept from returning home for 30 days would not have been financially possible for the band. With the panic & situations changing by the minute after bumbling dolt D.Trump announced international travel bans, we decided to make a move before it was too late. Again, our sincerest apologies, but we hope you understand our situation. Thank you.”

Eyehategod Are Almost Done With Their New Album

During a recent appearance on “The Void With Christina”, Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams revealed that the band are almost done with their new album. He said the following:

“It’s recorded. I just have to do vocals on it. We’ve been on tour so much. I was supposed to do it a few months ago, but something happened and things fell apart with that… we were leaving for tour immediately… So, I’m going to try to get it done. We’re taking a few months off after this thing; after Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea. But yeah, as soon as all that’s done, I’m going to take some time off, and then there’s a studio… I know where I’m going to go and do it.”

Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams Says Guitarist Brian Patton Quit To Focus On His Family

Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams was recently interviewed by Hayley Leggs at Hellfest in Clisson, France and addressed the absence of guitarist Brian Patton. According to Williams, Patton quit to focus on his family life.

Williams said the following:

“He quit, because he has a new baby. He has two kids now — he has a new baby — and he’s taking care of his wife’s parents; they’re having some health issues, I believe. So it’s for a good cause, but he couldn’t tour with us anymore. But it’s fun being a four-piece; I like the sound and the vibe and everything. So it’s kind of like a new era of the band.”

On another note, Williams also offered an update on the group’s new album:

“We were listening to the demo today on our drive here. We have a demo of, I think, maybe five or six songs. But I think we’re gonna re-record it. ‘Cause now we’re a four-piece band. And with my health thing over with, it’s kind of like a new era of the band.”

He went on to say it will “hopefully” be released in 2019:

“I don’t wanna say anything. We did that for 14 years — we kept going, ‘Oh, it’s coming out next year’ — and it took 14 years to put out a new record.”

He also added:

“We’re not one of those bands that tours, puts out an album, tours… We do it when we want to and when we feel… I mean, bands like that, sometimes they put out shitty albums ’cause they just write stuff very quickly. We just wanna take our time and write good songs.”

As far as the sound of the new material, he said:

“It’s the same EYEHATEGOD. We’re like AC/DC. It’s EYEHATEGOD; it’s gonna sound like EYEHATEGOD. Different riffs, different lyrics, but the sound is ours.”

Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams Offers Health Update

Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams has officially offered a health update following his successful liver transplant. You can read that below. You can also still donate to his youcaring.com campaign to help him out with his medical bills as well.

“Hey folks! Finally! This an update that’s totally loooong overdue, people,.. I apologize for the tardiness but I just started an entirely NEW beginning of an existence previously destined to be cut short by the ravages of a hard life lived..

I’m back mother fuckers..!! I feel pretty amazing, although I have a very long way to go as far as being one thousand percent fully healed, but my doctors are completely stoked at my progress so far. This miracle of the modern medical process has literally bought me a second chance at living!

Now on to the real stars of the show: YOU! My family, friends & fans; you truly stole my heart and made me aware that LOVE really does exist in this current climate of hatred because of someone’s skin color, beliefs or personal identity, you people came to the rescue like nobody’s business & we love you! To be honest,…we still need you!

Of major ultra special note is the New Orleans #IXLivesIXLives Mike IX benefit gigs.

I was unable to attend any of the shows because of doctors orders, but word is that the entire weekend was the ultimate example of mass friendship, hope & care for one another in a time of need. Many many thanks to EVERYBODY involved, me & my beautiful rock star of a wife Michelle thank you from the bottoms of our filthy hearts! We were & still are, over-freaking-whelmed at the outpouring of support from all the wonderful humans out in this world, you maniacs have completely outdone yourselves.

I mean obviously there is NO way to list you all individually so let’s just say “You know who you are” And as scatterbrained as I am, I have not forgotten to thank everyone at the Obsessed benefit in MD and the benefit in L.A…

Ok I’ll wrap this up by stating that the battle rages on at the front lines & we’re counting on everyone to keep spreading the word about this You Caring site due to the sad fact that we are forever in debt & in need of help & donations for the aftermath.

To quote an oft-repeated cliche; “Not out of the woods yet”, we are still in dire need of payments on prescription medicines, cardiac rehab, physical therapy, transportation, doctors visits, lab work & plain ol’ past due hospital bills. You are all Southern Nihilism Front soljas. We live to fight another day & to damage more minds and corrupt the bastard system we didn’t choose… EYEHATEGOD will return to the stage in 2017 to incite the class war..!
