Shadows (Ex-Goreaphobia, Etc.) Sign With Agonia Records

Shadows, the new band featuring former Goreaphobia members Alex Bouks (Immolation), Henny Piotrowski, and Jake G and Dominance’s Lance Walter, have signed a new deal with Agonia Records. The group are planning to release their debut EP through the label in 2021. Bouks said the following about the project:

“Shadows is a personal project that has lasted with myself and Henny Piotrowski for over thirty years. He is one of the first people I started playing music with and there has always been a magical chemistry that had never gone away. This year the universe spoke and said the truth shall be unveiled.”

Immolation Hoping To Record New Album In Early 2020

During a recent interview with Australia’s Heavy magazine, Immolation guitarist Robert Vigna offered an update on the band’s upcoming album. According to him, the group are hoping to record the effort early next year.

Vigna said the following:

“We’re working on it now. We definitely have a bunch of stuff written. We try and keep a schedule, and then things get pushed back. So it’s just the way it goes. But we’re working on the music. We’re hoping to have it recorded probably very early next year and get it out sometime in the spring of next year. So we’re pretty much trying to stay in the target we initially set. But we have a lot of touring now, and from this point on, we’re pretty much on the road until the first week of December, on and off. So it’s a lot of touring. But that’s okay… We really wanted to get out there and kind of get ourselves out and about and then work on the new music at the same time.”

Immolation Working On New Album

It looks like Immolation are working on a new album. Guitarist Robert Vigna told Heavy New York the following:

“We’re going to be going out on the Decibel Magazine Tour in March, part of that tour, which has Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Necrot and Blood Incantation, so it’s going to be a heavy tour. We’re doing a part of that. We’re working on a new record now as well and we’re also going to be doing some touring in Europe, like the festivals throughout the summertime. Probably hitting Australia and Asia and possibly South America before the end of the year. Hopefully U.S. tour by the end of the year. We’re going to be busy and hopefully working up toward our new record possibly by end of the year, early next year. We got a lot going on.”
