Morello commented:

“Vic Mensa, Portugal. The Man, and I did an acoustic reimagining of ‘Every Step That I Take‘ off my album ‘The Atlas Underground‘. Was so great collaborating with these super talented friends. The sonic conspiracy continues!”

Mensa added:

“It’s always a dream come true to rock with Tom on anything, I’m his biggest fucking fan. Me & John [Gourley, of Portugal. The Man] actually met at like my 22nd birthday party at my house when I got cake faced by my girlfriend, so it was awesome to do some music together.”

The Fever 333 Premiere New Video For “Made An America” Remix Feat. Travis Barker & Vic Mensa

Jason Aalon Butler commented:

“This project started as an effort to affect change. Change in our communities as well as the industry and art which we operate within.

Opening the floor to like minds and artists. Subversion is in the project’s DNA. So is hip hop. So is punk. So is ART. Which is why we are so proud to announce the visual component to the “MADE AN AMERICA” REMIX FT. TRAVIS BARKER & VIC MENSA.

Two artists tastefully combining the essence of rock and hip hop music; two realms that were created to challenge convention which is what we intend on doing in honor of these cultures.”

Resistance to fascism. Resistance to Donald Trump. We are staring down the barrel of a dystopian nightmare unless we act NOW, unless we fight back NOW. We intend to create “No Trump Zones” across the country; in our homes, our schools, our places of work, and our concert stages. Bad Presidents make for great music. Join us as we get loud and stand together to defend our rights, our country, and our planet.”
