Laura Jane Grace (Against Me!) Surprise Releases New EP “At War With The Silverfish”

Laura Jane Grace (Against Me!) has surprise released a new solo EP titled “At War With The Silverfish.” You can find the cover art and track listing for that effort below:

“At War With The Silverfish” Track Listing:

01. “Three Of Hearts”
02. “Lolo 13”
03. “Long Dark Night”
04. “Electro-Static Sweep”
05. “Day Old Coffee”
06. “Smug Fuckface”
07. “Yesterday Pt. II”

Grace commented:

“These are songs of late-night madness and loneliness, orphan songs that came wandering in looking to feed like insects.”

“I’ve learned that if you share your experience with good intentions that the universe will always surprise you with abundant return. Every song is an act of faith; you don’t necessarily know why you’re singing it other than you know you’ve got to sing it.”

Laura Jane Grace (Against Me!) To Perform At Four Seasons Total Landscaping In Philadelphia

Laura Jane Grace (Against Me!) and Brendan Kelly (The Lawrence Arms) will be performing at Four Seasons Total Landscaping in Philadelphia, PA on August 21. That business, which sits between a crematorium and an erotic book store, previously made headlines after Rudy Giuliani infamously held a press conference there for Donald Trump in November 2020. You can purchase tickets HERE and commemorative shirts HERE. Grace commented:

“This will be the first and last time Brendan and I will play in front of a landscaping company and we promise it will be better than that MAGA shit show.”

Kelly added:

“Ever since I saw my personal hero Rudy Giuliani humiliate himself for the good of the nation at Four Seasons Total Landscaping, I knew I wanted to go there and follow in his footsteps, then shop at the porn store, and eventually move off this mortal coil by being burned at the neighboring crematorium. It’s not often you get to touch history, but that’s what Laura and I will be doing in this most hallowed of political and mulching grounds.”

Watch Members Of Royal Thunder, Red Fang, Against Me!, And Kvelertak Cover The Rolling Stones’ “Rocks Off”

“Two Minutes To Late Night” have shared footage of their host Jordan “Gwarsenio Hall” Olds performing a quarantine cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Rocks Off” with Mlny Parsonz (Royal Thunder), Maciek Ofstad (Kvelertak), Aaron Beam (Red Fang), and Atom Willard (Against Me!). “Two Minutes To Late Night” commented:

“What’s the matter with the boys who are back in town? We covered a really groovy straight-edge anthem (lol jk) for you buttheads. This is our 38th bedroom cover made with the support of Patreon. With so many musicians stuck at home with no outlets, we’re going to keep producing these style videos and use our Patreon to give some money to everyone who has a part in them. Please support our friends by donating to our newly redone Patreon at http://www.twominutestolatenight.com.”

Grace commented:

“I sat around for a month-and-a-half at home just being shellshocked being like, ‘What the fuck happened and what the fuck is happening with the world?’ As I started to get my bearings, I just came to the realization that waiting was going to kill the record and kill the songs. I spent two years working on all these songs, and the idea of throwing them away didn’t sit well with me.”

“But then I was like, ‘What am I waiting for?’ All I have to do is adjust my scope. I can sit here on my fucking ass and do nothing, or I can work. … I just want to put this out because it makes me feel alive and it’s giving me something better than sitting here losing my mind while the world falls apart.”

“It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about what you do. Just stay alive.”

Baroness & Against Me! Cancel Co-Headlining Tour

Baroness and Against Me! have cancelled their co-headlining tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. The trek, which also featured Destroy Boys and Drug Church, was supposed to launch next month.

Baroness commented:

“We know you have been waiting patiently to hear word on the status of our upcoming shows in May with Against Me!. Unfortunately with local restrictions and with the health of our fans, crew and the band in mind, we will be cancelling all shows in May. We are just as bummed out (if not more) to not be seeing you in the upcoming weeks, but once the current situation has passed and it is safe for us all to gather again we will be coming your way to celebrate life and (new) music with you.

If you have purchased a ticket for any of these shows, you should be receiving a refund in the next few weeks. If you do not, please contact your point of purchase.

In the meantime please, stay safe, stay health, and even though we are physically apart we are all in this together.

With love,
Baroness“
