  • The Rolling Stones Share New Songs “Jealous Lover” And “Divine Intervention”

    The Rolling Stones have debuted two new songs, “Jealous Lover” and “Divine Intervention.” Those tracks are from the band’s new album, “Foreign Tongues,” which will be released on July 10.

  • New Idea Society Share In-Studio Performance Of “Lantern”

    New Idea Society, the project featuring Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, etc.) and Mike Law (Wild Arrows, Euclid), have shared an in-studio performance of “Lantern.” That track is from their latest album “Fire On The Hill.” The group commented:

    “We stopped by God City Studios few weeks ago and invited Kurt Ballou (Converge) and Adam McGrath (Cave In) to join us for a live version of ‘Lantern.’ Turns out when we get together with Santos Montano (Old Man Gloom) [on] drums we can’t help but get loud! Full band shows (minus Kurt and Adam) start July 9th in Brooklyn, then July 10th in Providence, July 11th in Malden and July 12th in Philadelphia! Kurt has been an important contributor to NIS since the beginning – often fielding phone calls when we didn’t know how to use the recording gear, and playing some drums/guitar on the first two albums, so it was great to get him in on this.”

  • Gradience Premiere “White Noise” Video

    Gradience have premiered a new video for their new song “White Noise.” You can check that out below. The track is from the band’s new album, “Anomaly,” which will be released on September 4.

    Vocalist Gavin Mistry said the following:

    “‘White Noise‘ is one of our more experimental and unpredictable tracks on the album. The lyrics also reflect that same unpredictability; that I can find myself being confrontational and extroverted, but at the same time need solitude to cope with everything. The spoken word at the end is me reflecting on that introverted side of myself.”

    He also commented on the album:

    “Lyrically, I tend to write from my own experiences and emotions. As an immigrant in Denmark, I have lived and received my fair share of pushback and challenges. From a young age, I have practiced writing about my thoughts and feelings – either as poetry or diary entries. It’s been a way for me to cope with the feeling of being alone and misunderstood – pretty much all my teen years. The album’s lyrical themes can be experienced as me reflecting on past, present and future truths and/or lies that have been important for me to deal with.”

    Guitarist Jakob Lærke Harris added:

    “When we began writing together, we suddenly found songwriting to be straightforward. We knew from the get-go we wanted to write metal and do something completely new that we hadn’t heard before and at the same time write music we felt we needed to hear. That was our only goal and focus: writing music for ourselves.”

  • Tom Morello Cancels Remaining European/UK Dates After His Mother Returns To The Hospital

    Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, etc.) has cancelled his remaining European/UK shows. The dates were scrapped after his mom was hospitalized.

    Morello issued a statement:

    “Dear friends, fans and comrades, my dear mom, Mary Morello is back in the hospital and I’m headed home to help look after her. Rocking the UK & Europe with you all this summer has been incredible and I cant wait to be back with you and continue this movement that we started. With much love, unity and power“

    The following was also added:

    “Tom will not be appearing on Tons of Rock Festival or BBK Music Legends Festival. Refunds for the headline London and Paris shows will be available at point of purchase.”
