Motor Sister Premiere New Song “Right There, Just Like That”

Motor Sister, the project featuring Scott Ian (Anthrax), his wife Pearl Aday, John Tempesta (The Cult), Joey Vera (Armored Saint) and Jim Wilson (Mother Superior), have premiered a new song titled “Right There, Just Like That.” This track is from the band’s new album “Get Off,” which will be released on May 6. Wilson commented:

“The riff was so driving and sexy, the song had to be about a girl who just wants to have fun! And it really shows the strength we have with two strong singers.”

Vera added:

“To me this tune has a great nod to our early 70’s influences without it sounding trite. It sounds fresh and modern while still feeling familiar.”

Vera said the following about the album:

“Our first record ‘Ride‘ was a collection of songs we re-recorded from the band Mother Superior which was great, but I’m stoked that we had this chance to actually get into a room together and write this batch of all new material. We keep in mind where this band originated from but we get to take it to totally different levels.”

Aday added:

“The record of covers was already done, so there was no need to do it again. We’re a bunch of songwriters with so much passion for the same kind of music, it just makes sense that we would make new music together, and it was easy as usual to follow Jim’s lead on this one. He was overflowing with songs and ideas so we all happily jumped right in.”
