Halestorm, Tesla, Etc. Members To Perform During “Rock To Remember” Virtual Concert

Gibson Gives and Guitars For Vets have announced a special “Rock To Remember” virtual concert to raise money for music programs for U.S. military veterans who are suffering with PTSD. The event, which will be hosted by Jared James Nichols, will stream tonight (November 11) at 7:30 PM, CT and it will feature: Don Felder, Big & Rich, Joe Bonamassa, Phil X and The Drills, Travis Denning, Lee Roy Parnell, Orianthi, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger, Meghan Patrick, Frank Hannon (Tesla) with JT Loux Band, Jimmy Vivino and Friends, Meghan Linsey and Tyler Cain, Honey County, Bones Owens, Nick Perri and The Underground Thieves, Laine Hardy and many more. Several U.S. veteran graduates of Guitars For Vets programs will also perform.

A special “Rock For Relief” virtual concert will be taking place on Friday (July 3) at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT via rockforrelief.net. The show will be hosted by Lou Brutus and Rikki Rachtman and money raised from it will go towards Feeding America‘s Coronavirus Response Fund. Here’s the artists set to perform: Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Gavin Rossdale (Bush), Don Felder, George Thorogood, Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Joe Hottinger (Halestorm), Filter, Lisa Loeb, BJ Thomas, The Dead Daisies, Jesse Hasek (10 Years), Brian Vodinh (10 Years), Chris Robertson (Black Stone Cherry), Starset, Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro), Brandon Saller (Atreyu), Ricky Byrd, Bobby Whitlock (Derek & The Dominos, CoCo Carmel), Joe Grushecky, Bones Owens, Kathy Sledge, Danielia Cotton & Mickey Factz, and Matt Bigland (Dinosaur Pile-Up). Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton, Joe Satriani, Melissa Rivers, and Adam Gontier (Saint Asonia) will also be involved in the event.

Don Felder (ex-Eagles) has premiered a lyric video for his new song “Rock You.” The track, which features Sammy Hagar (ex-Van Halen, Chickenfoot, etc.), Joe Satriani (Chickenfoot, etc.), and Bob Weir (Grateful Dead, Dead & Company, etc.), will appear on Felder’s new album “American Rock ‘N’ Roll” (out April 5).

Don Felder (ex-Eagles) will be releasing his new album “American Rock ‘N’ Roll” on April 5 and the effort will feature a number of guests including Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Sammy Hagar (Chickenfoot, ex-Van Halen, etc.), Joe Satriani (Chickenfoot, etc.), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chickenfoot), and Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac). Gene Simmons & Ace Frehley To Perform Together For First Time In Over 16 Years At The Children Matter Benefit Concert

KISS’ Gene Simmons will take the stage with his former bandmate Ace Frehley for the first time in over 16 years at The Children Matter benefit concert, which was organized to help Hurricane Harvey victims. The event, which will also feature Don Felder (ex-Eagles), Cheap Trick, Flipp, and The Jayhawks, will take place on September 20 at the CHS Field Stadium in St. Paul, Minnesota. Tickets can be purchased HERE, and proceeds will go towards the nonprofit Matter.

Dave Grohl, Sammy Hagar Etc. Set For Fourth Annual Acoustic 4 A Cure Benefit

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Don Felder (ex-Eagles), Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Sammy Hagar, Vic Johnson (The Circle, etc.), Sarah McLachlan, Steve Vai, and Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) have been set for the fourth annual Acoustic 4 A Cure benefit. This special acoustic show benefits the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and will be held at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA, on May 15. The event usually features James Hetfield as well, but with Metallica’s busy tour schedule Grohl was recruited to fill in.
