Chickenfoot, Grateful Dead, Etc. Members Set For Fifth Annual Acoustic 4 A Cure Benefit

Sammy Hagar, Bob Weir, Joe Satriani, Chad Smith, Michael Anthony, Kevin Cronin, Eddie Money, and Vic Johnson have all been confirmed for the fifth annual Acoustic 4 A Cure benefit. This special acoustic show, which benefits the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, will serve as 75th birthday celebration for blues icon Taj Mahaland. The concert will be held at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA on May 15. James Hetfield (Metallica) used to co-host the event alongside Hagar, but Weir is now taking his place.

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Don Felder (ex-Eagles), Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Sammy Hagar, Vic Johnson (The Circle, etc.), Sarah McLachlan, Steve Vai, and Bob Weir (Grateful Dead) have been set for the fourth annual Acoustic 4 A Cure benefit. This special acoustic show benefits the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and will be held at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA, on May 15. The event usually features James Hetfield as well, but with Metallica’s busy tour schedule Grohl was recruited to fill in.
